what will happen to stevie rae

If the Black bull made that Stevie Rae's payment is a combined thing, thus making their Imprint unbreakable, then if Stevie Rae had drunk from Dallas, then it wouldn't have mattered. Where as both Stevie Rae and Rephaim were like "I know if she drinks from Dallas our Imprint will break"

the tie that they have together is forever, the imprint is not the tie so it can break. they would still be bound to each other.

Technically Rephaim fills all the criteria. Because Rephaim's part Immortal, he can bind himself to Stevie Rae as her Warrior. As Rephaim can drink human blood and use it as an energy source (it's mentioned in Tempted), Rephaim could also be Stevie Rae's Mate. And as Rephaim's part Human, he be bound to her via an Imprint. So he's Mate, Warrior, Consort all in one package. Stevie Rae wouldn't need anyone but him.

But that could just be me, just an idea

and have one be immortal for being warrior? stark isn't part immortal... but i guess mate would be possible cause he's not just a human. and consort of course, cause he's part human

Kalona was Nyx's Warrior and he's an Immortal being. So if Kalona can be Nyx's warrior, then it's highly likely that Rephaim can be Stevie Rae's Warrior through the Immortal half of his being. Just because it doesn't have an influence doesn't mean it isn't important. We're not told what the criteria for a Mate is. Hell we're not told what the criteria for a consort is either.

That hints to it being important later on, maybe that's why she couldn't just put it in there without spoiling stuff.

And I would like Rephaim being SR's warrior, mate and consort all in one. Would be great. Then he really would be the only one forever for her. =)

It does hint at it later on, but that's still stupid. They could have told us more about it.

Well i was kind of wondering why Stevie Rae couldn't be bonded to any other guy but Rephaim. I know in the book Burned it says that their bond is unusally strong, but i wondered why it was so strong. I mean they've only known each other for a week and bit. So i thought maybe it's because if Rephaim fits the criteria for all of those things, then Stevie Rae wouldn't need anyone else.

I mean, that would be an explanation. when i think of Zs boys, they weren't as able as Reph to fullfille all the criteria, except Stark and he wasn't with her in the very beginning. Maybe, if they wouldn't break up in Awakened, Z and Stark would have a nearly same strong bond, too? But i think that the bond from SR and Rephaim would be the strongest because of his immortal blood. whenever SR thought about his blood it was mentioned that his blood is stronger than usual blood, so maybe the imprint is much stronger than normal! (maybe that's the reason why SR couldn't be bound to another guy, too? dunno!)

I guess that that could work like that. If the blood of the consort is stronger then the bond would be stronger.

Today, upon rereading Hunted, I was just thinking that there might be someone who accepts SR and Rephaim after all. Who? Zoey's Grandma. Because at the end, she didn't have any contempt for the RMs, instead she talked to them about their mothers and all. She rebuked them, yeah, but I also think as a Cherokee, she pities them. So I think, if both of them pop up there, she would at least listen to them and that's all they need: Time to explain. And I think Zoey's Grandma might accept it, if they really explain everything.

Sure, she might not, but at least she would listen to them, instead of going "No way! What are you thinking?!" and not listening at all, like everyone else is gonna do.

I think you're right. It even seemed like Kalona freaked out a little when Grandma Redbird was all like "why do you let him use you like this?" or at least that's what it seemed to be to me. It didn't seem as though he liked anyone paying his sons any attention. Sister Mary Angela might be in the same boat, you know willing to listen or at the very least figured some of it out (Stevie Rae did leave that trash bag filled with bloody towels in the shed) but not be entirely supportive.

that might be possible... i'm sure SR and Rephaim will have to hide themselfes anywhere, i thought about Gilcrease, but that would be maybe too close to the HON and that's why i thought about SR's mama, but Grandma may be possible, too. She is not a friend of the raven mockers, but she saw them as kinda victims in hunted. and she's a wise woman, when she would see how desperate the two are, she'll listen to them and will understand. I'm shure of that.

It's be pretty cool if Stevie Rae and Rephaim hung out at the lavender farm for a while and Rephaim helped out. Him and/or his brothers did make her have that car accident

I can too, that would be totally sweet^^ I mean it could be possible and it could be also not I guess it wouldn't happen, too, but it would be great for helping the development for Rephaim to a good guy to be nice to his earlier victims and do some good work. and Grandma could interview a contemporary witness over cherokee-stuff etc^^ i would like a bit harmony while Neferet tries to rule the world^^
