I took a step away from the guy at the door.

"Mel, I am here to protect you. You are human and not like them at all. They will kill you. I am sorry I came here so late, I just keep on getting attacked before I can reach you." I looked down ashamed.

"Mel it is ok I am trained for this." I slid out the police badge faek of course but it was done was the most professoinal, not even the FBI knew that it was fake.

I walked in the room and pushed Markis into the wall taking handful of his shirt. "I am so sick of you getting in my way like I was so sick of your dad." I pushed through my teeth. I let go of him and turned to Mel, "look I can not get any more simple so please," I begged. "Just listen, you are human. Your family was killed, and now you run off with a hairy wolf boy thing who says he knew you. Does that seem logical you?

I stood up, brushing the dirt off my shirt. "You know, you kind killed too." I said looking him in the eyes. "I am just making the numbers even." I smiled widely. "Your father was stupid just like you."

"You guys aren't even really tellling me anything. " I yelled and walked out of the room and went downstairs.

I felt the anger boiling up, I just smiled, a smiled formed out of pure rage. Stupid move Ryan, you should have ended his life when he didn't understand. My eyes caught Mel leaving the room, that was what I wanted all along, the smallest chance to get her away from him, and she fell right into my trap.

One single bullet and she was dead, no pain, but to elminate what I have killed for. Her cold, lifeless body on the ground surrounded with her own blood. I grinned in delight, so maybe all these years were for nothing. And finally my father would accept me, would understand why I went crazy and blood thirsty.

"Markis it his over," my voice was hoarse from the yelling over the years. "You tried but you failed, I promise I will make it fast and painless." I made sure my face did not display any emotion. "Sorry," I whispered before walking out the room after Mel.

I walked down the stairs and started to cry. "Why me?" I said walking outside.

I followed after her, "I am sorry you are the one Mel." I stood next to her."But crying will not help," I said walking over to the car."Are you coming or do I have to drag you?"

"How am I the one? What does that mean?" I stood there wanting answers wipping my tears.

I went around and opened the passenger door. "I will explain on the way." I tried to look into her eyes, but they displayed innocent and fear. "Please," I begged, "just come." I held back the tears from rolling down my face. Why was I about to cry? It is not as if I didn't put myself into this situation. But I have never killed a child, and she was so pure and ignorant of what she was.

I muttered to myself, and in a few moments came back to reality. She had to die, or even leave. She would ruin everything if she stays here, with him. I would force her in, I would chase her down if she ran. I let my eyes stare at shoes, not showing my face to her.

I walked over to the car and got in. I sat there wondering where we were going.
