Not So Happy Birthday!!!((Closed, Started))

I pushed the key up to drive, and the roar of the car was satifying."Just in case you were wondering I want to show you where this whole mess started." I looked over at her to see her staring at Markis. I shook my head at him and pulled out of the driveway.

"He is lying, no one can be in the same situation that I am in now." I said outloud

I just nodded. "You will understand soon enough," I said while speeding down the road.

"What do you mean?"

I looked over at her, "you really do not know anything do you." I turned my head back to the road. "It all started when my father was a boy." I paused. "You do want to hear the story don't you?"

"Yeah." I said turning to face him more.

"Well back in my grandpa's time land was open and belonged to no one. So one day he took my father out hunting, and thats were it started. You see the Markis's kind filled the land and of course we respected them since they were there first, and we thought they were ok with us." I bit my lip. "Or that was what we thought, humans were getting killed and my grandpa was a part of the team hired to get the wolves under control. That was when we discovered they were hiding among the humans taking shape as us." I looked over at her. "Sorry if I am boring you." I smiled to her.

"No your not, I am actually pretty interested, but what does this have to do with me?"

"Well thats the thing, the battle really did not happen until my father was 12 and he was a part of it. He told my brother and I stories about the mighty hunt. And he said it was strange becuase the wolves were all protecting one, the mother who was to have a child. A child who would defeat all, a simple girl. You. People started going crazy, it was pride taking over. That was when the hunts began to find this mystery girl. Because everyone wants her on thier side." I pulled up to an old house.

"See its not me. I haven't even been in a fight before. I cant be that person everyone is looking for."

"But you are, you were still inside your mother's stomach at the time of the battle. I am certian it is you or these wolves would not care so much." I smiled and stepped out of the car and walked around to the other side to open her door. "This is where it all began," I said while examing the old house.

"Why wasn't i told?"

"You weren't told because you are to young. The only reason I am telling you this now is because I feel you are mature enough to understand the danger those wolves are putting you in. They wouldn't have ever told you, they want you on their good side." I looked at her.

"What side are you on?"

I thought for a moment. "Well I would say I am on the human side, not that I want to go and destroy wolves but..." I stopped I never really even thought about what I am fighting against. "No I am for sure on the human side, I am human after all."

I looked at him, "But what if I dont want to be on either side?"

"You are not a peacemaker or Switzerland. You will eventually have to choice a side to fight with." I turned away, "I just feel bad having to tell you all of this."
