| I find the books and the series so different that I dont even relate them to eachother. There is the vampire diaries on TV and the Vampire Diaries the books. They sre not and in my view will never be the same thing. In my opinion you could hate one and love the other. The actor choices are a bit shocking for me........... Nina Dobrev is pretty but she does not have golden blonde hair nor does she have lapis lazuli eyes..... speaking of....... there is no lapis lazuli in the TV series... sure theres a ring, but they never said what it was! There's no Meredith and Bonnie is pretty much her own exact opposite, Margret, Elena's little kid sister has somehow turned into Jeremy, Elena's teenage brother (I still love them both). I could go on and on about this forever and get more and more angry... I find that I am much happier when I dont associate the two. | |

| I love the books they are amazing I'm TEAM STEFAN ALL THE WAY I LOVE THE GOOD GUYS DAMON IS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS TOO BUT HE"S A DICKERSON I like the tv series but I'm not really loving the fact that it's not really book based I thought they were going to make it just right out of the book cuz the tv show is totally out of wack Elana is adopted she has a brother he father is her uncle or some crap like that her brother drank vamprie blood and might change and her friend Meredith in the book is so not in the tv show Bonie wants nothing to do with her in the show nd how is she the mirror image of Kathrine they don't even explaine that nd that's the part I'm not understanding not even in the books they don't say y if someone knows could u plz tell me maybe I missed it cuz I read it 2 fast I like it but I don't love it I mean it's great and all but I wish it were based on the books. | |
