I went to grab his hand, but I realized mine was still covered in blood.

"Uh, I don't think you want to touch my hand right now." I said.

I shrugged,"it's just blood,"I grinned.

"Yeah, you're right."
I took his hand. I didn't want him to know blood was more to me. I already had started to experience bloodlust. He looked new. I didn't know if he even knew what that was yet.
"I guess that's what I get for wearing boots and a skirt in this weather." I smiled.

I grinned,"where you headed?"

"I was just heading to my dorm. I'm trying to find my friend, Owen. A couple of my friends and I are on our way to going out dancing." I explained. "Do you want to come?" I asked.

I rubbed the back of my neck ,"sure as long as i get a dance from you beautiful."

"I think I can arrange that." I said with an impish look in my eyes.
"Oh, hey, I never got your name. I'm Alexis. I'm a 5th former here."

"Blake forth former,"I grinned.

"Well, Blake, it's nice to meet you."
"So how old are you?" I asked.
He looked about my age, but you never know.

"17 , you?"

"Same. When did you come to the House of Night?"

"Just today .... transferred."

"Really? I transferred too, about five months ago." I responded.
I was kind of surprised. He was the first transferred student I had met. It made me feel a little less alone for some reason.
I smiled.

I grinned, she was beautiful..... but maybe she liked Owen to,"uhhh ... you got a boyfriend or a crush?"I asked nervously.

I smield and pulled my wings onmto my back

"Pretty cool eh?"

Oh, no he was probably thinking I was in love with Owen because here I was trying to find him.
"No, no boyfriend and not really any crushes. I haven't been here that long. I still feel like the new girl sometimes, you know?" I explained. "Um...how about you...girlfriend...crush?" I asked.

I smiled,"nope ..... actually your the only one I seem to fit with,"i looked at her,"I usually feel alone."

I looked up into his beautiful blue eyes.
"I know what you mean. I can be in a room full of people and still feel all alone. It's been especially bad lately."

I nodded,"yeah," i brushed my hair outta my eyes.

"You know, Owen is probably still with the High Priestess and the Sons of Erebus. Let's head back to the limo." I took his hand and led him towards the school's parking lot.
I really wanted to just turn around and kiss him, but I was too nervous. I would have been able do it in the past, but now, I don't know....

I let her lead me to her limo.

What the hell? I thought.
I stopped. I stepped into a darkened corner of the school and pulled him into me. I stood on my toes and pressed my lips to his.

I was shocked but then kissed back it felt right...

It was as amazing as I thought it would be. We fit perfectly together. I moved my hands up his back into his hair and twirled my fingers around it.

I wrapped my arms around her waist.
