The Enemy ( Started; But still open:D )

I sighed"well whatever time to get back to work"i laughed

i nodded and grabed a mop to help clean up.

(Hey, guys. I don't mean to be a party pooper.. But, to stay sorta true to the story line of the actual book, can Nick (Nightchild) and Faith (Midnight Demon) change their ages to 16. Just a year, I know, but it's a difference. See, everyone in the book past age 16 is unknown, but the author has it made out it to be everyone starts to catch the sickness past that age. I will allow Amalia (Crystal Rose) to stay a little older due to her status, but I would like Amalia to be 17. Please and Thank you! - Blazey)

"WAIT!" I yelled out to the leader. "You forgot me" I told her with a lopsided grin on my face.

I watched Amber walk out the door with Nick and I frowned unhappily. I swept the floor nonchalantly, working my way over to Amii. "We need to talk later." I told her.

I grabbed a sponge and wiped at the floor. I smiled, and started singing 'The sun will come out Tomorrow' from the movie Annie.

I smiled at Nat, doing my best to clear off all the dirt, grim, and sweat off the floor, but not really getting anywhere. I started singing along with Nat, nudging her with me knee softly.

I nodded"we will this is just to get everyone's mind off of the incident mostly for Nat"I skated over to her"sorry ok name age and your weapon choice"

I nodded and went back to cleaning silently

My eyes widened "BOY! I'm a boy!" I said and fretted with my shirt. "My name is Harvey, I am 13, I do not fight or use weapons." I said in order.

I jumped as Harv stated yelling. " You know she is right in front of you and hears just fine."

I turned to her "Listen, babe. This chick just called me a girl. I am sorry I got a little loud." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

" I doubt your sorry. I also have a name its Faith not babe. You should learn it." i rolled my eyes back at him.

"enough"I wrote down his information"sorry dude you might want a hair cut then"I smiled then skated away

"I have a couple of bows that wants an owner..." I said.

"Fine but only because of the bows" I muttered.

I skated over to Devin and Amii. "I really don't like it that Amber followed that guy all alone" I said and crossed my arms over my chest. "And isn't it a little bit too hot in here?" I said and wiped my forhead.

I looked for Owen"great the kid genuis is working at the lab station"I shook my hea"Owen stop working with the chemicals and start using cleaning utensils"

((Since I haven't read the book I'm just guessing on how they are when they start to feel weird))

I wiped my forhead again. "Seriously am I the only one who feels a bit weird?"

I walked over to him"drink this"I handed him a bottle that contained blood if he liked it we would have to kill him but hopefully he was only sick

"What is it?" I asked and eyes the drink in suspicion.

I glaned at Nick. "What?" I asked. "Nothing. That's what's wrong. There's nothing. It's too calm...too quiet..." he said and looked around. I shrugged and turned around a corner.

I sighed and shook my head. Just a calm night. You should be happy for that I thought to myself as Amber turned around the corner. I didn't have time to react before the Grown-up had bitten into her neck.

"It is juice just take a drink and tell me if you like it"I smiled

I looked down at the drink again. "This is not juice...." I said.

I screamed as the Grown-up bit into my neck.

I pulled out a knife and stabbed the grown-up, and he fell to the ground. Amber stumbled backwards to and fell down, hitting her head on the asphalt.

"It is i'll take a drink"I was so glad it was my blood I took a swig"see now take a sip and tell me if you like it"

I eyed her and then took a sip.

I looked around for more Grown-ups, but he seemed to be the only one right now. I ran over to Amber and helped her sit up. I looked at her neck. "That does not look good...it might be infected" I muttered.

I brought a hand up to my neck and pulled it away quickly, making a face. I brought my hand up to the back of my head and then in front of my head. My hand was red with blood and the world was spinning a bit.

"So do you like it"I asked curious I hoped he would say no

"Okay we're goin back" I said and lifted her up. I started to run back to Walmart. We hadn't gotten so far anyway so I was quickly at the door knocking hard.

I had a killer headache and the world was still spinning.

I spat it all out and puked. "That's not juice!" I yelled and heard someone knock hard on one of the doors.

I sighed he was only sick"thank goodness"I ran to the door and opened it for Nick"What happened to Amber Nick"I grabbed the first aid kit and stitched her head up first"Ok Amber talk and whatever you do don't stop talking"I cleaned up her scalp before and after I stiched it then went to work on her neck wound"Someone get me the syrum"I had had a little bacteria killer whipped up four years before this all happened and had kept it just in case

"I don't want to talk" I mumbled and closed my eyes, making a face as she fixed my head.

"Well, you have to kid. You! You're her brother right? Go get whatever Amilia told you to" I said.

"I told you she shouldn't have followed him!" I hissed and handed her the syrum.

"enough"I took out a needle full of the syrum and injected Amber with it then cleaned up her wound"don't let her sleep for 12 hours"I got up"Nick come with me"

I smiled and curled up in a ball. I tried to fall asleep.

I slapped Amber in her face before I followed Amilia.

I glared at Nick and sat down beside Amber, gently shaking her shoulder. "Hey, open your eyes:"

"Nick what happened out there"I asked him curious and yet at the same time a little frightened I was only so strong and I was growing weaker each battle yet also stronger
