The Enemy ( Started; But still open:D )

I shrugged. "Didn't see him coming. Everything was quiet and calm and Amber turned around a corner. Before I had time to react he had bitten into her neck. I killed him but she stumbled backwards and hit her head on the asphalt. I decided that it was better to head back."

I shook her harder. "Amber! She's ignoring me again. Devin, help please" I sighed.

I ignored Gale and thought about Devin. A smile slowly formed on my lips as I fell asleep.

"Gale slap her hard"I turned back to Nick"Ok I undrstand"I sat down on the floor and rubbed my temples

I crossed my arms over my chest and smirked at Gale. He wasn't going to hit her, anyone could see that. I walked back to Amber and hit her real hard. Woops, maybe a bit too hard.

I screamed and opened my eyes. "I'm trying to sleep!" I croaked.

I shrugged.

"I said no sleeping Amber not with that concusion"I waved Nick back over to me

I smriked and walked back to Amilia.

"Amber it's important you don't fall asleep" I said softly.

"Whatever. Where's Devin? Did he leave?"

"I need your help with something Nick"I looked him in the eyes"I need you to help me run this"I waved out to them all"I have been running this thing alone for to long and I have grown tired of all the worry and stress I need help"

I nodded. "Sure. No problem."

"No he's still here Amber."

"Good. I love him you see" I smiled.

"How hard did you hit your head?" I muttered.

I gave him a quick peck on my cheek"thanks"

i laughed. " Gosh i dont think she hit her head that hard Gale."

(Yay! Nightchild, it is such a good book! Then as you should know.. when you get bit, by a grown up.. you go crazy and start to slowly die. And there really no cure for the sickness at all, all you can do is post pone it for a little while until it finally takes over. Sorry I have been gone, had a butt load of projects due. Blazey the procrastinator is what I am after all. I tried to read everything but if I missed something let me know.)

I came out of the storage room and walked into chaos. "What the-" I started then saw Gale crouched besides Amber. I walked over and saw her covered in blood and her neck wrapped up. "Amber!" I cried and went down besides her. I cupped her face in my hands "What happened?" I asked worriedly, looking over her injuries.

I leaned against the wall "Jeez how unfortunate." I said not really paying any real attention to anything happening.

I walked out of the storage room and saw everyone going ballistic "What did I miss this time" I muttered and started walking towards everyone.

" Maybe you should help her Harv instead of just stand there like nothings going on."

"Amber's not going to die!" I snapped at him.

I nodded. "I will be just fine if I could get some sleep. Sadly anough I'm having some problems with that since someone here wont stop slapping me in my face!" I yelled at Nick.

I grinned. "Glad to help you out honey" I said and then got serious. "But you will die, he's right about that."

i laughed. " Thank you Becka." i looked back at Amber. " Thats just not far. Do any of you know how long she has?" i asked.

"No problem." I said sullenly to Faith. I sat next to Amber and pulled a ragged dirty thin blanket over her. Devin helped me sit her up against a wall. I pointed two fingers at Nick and Harv "You two: Shut. Up." I told them, giving them a cold warning look.

I pushed away a lock of Amber's hair away from her face "Hey there Amber. I know as lovely as sleeping sounds right now, you can't do that. Right now, you have to talk to me, as unfortunate as that is." I said jokingly, looking into her eyes. I smiled

"With that syrum she has at least a month"I looked at Nick"Owen is working on a cure at the moment though"

I rushed up to Amilia

"I htink i might have somehting"

"ok then get it"

"No I mean I think I might have a cure"

"what do you mean"

I sighed"ok"

"Ill have to let it set for a while but It migth work"

"good"I walked to a corner and cried

I heard her crying and I wlaked aorund
