The Enemy ( Started; But still open:D )

i smiled. It felt nice to know i wasn't alone any more. I hugged her. " Thank you."

I woke up a few moments later and saw the blanket over me"I fell asleep"

I smiled sadly and shook my head. "Why don't we just be honest, we all know I'm going to die.

I gave a slight nod and didn't say anything.

"You're not going to die" I said, gritting my teeth together.

I got up and walked up to them"enough"I said in a shakey voice"I know you all are thinking she is going to die but I refuse to lose someone again"tears filled up my eyes again

I woke up and had to upll myself out instead of srtanding because charles hasd fallen asleep besdie me

"I agree" I nodded. "She ain't going to die."

I shook my head slowly. Oh, denial, denial, denial....

I coughed. God, my head hurted. I leaned against Devin and closed my eyes with a jawn.

I looked at them"Nick pleasse think positive for me"

I hugged her back "No problem. After all we all are like family now. It's what I am here for. That, and to annoy the shi! out of my older brother Devin. My two divine jobs." I said and smiled. "Now lets see if we can cook up some food for everybody with the little that we have." I said to her

I leaned over and kissed Amber's forehead, holding her hand in mine. "Your not going to die just yet. You have to stay with me just a little bit longer." I said to her

" ok. cool. show me what you got and i am pretty sure i can make something out of it."

" ok. i think i can do something we just need heat. like an oven or something."

I looked at there hands then up at Nick and then walked away tears streaming down my face again

I went outsdie quietly undetected and snuck away

"I will stay with you a little while longer. If I get some sleep" I said stubbornly.

I shook my head. "Owen, how long have you come with the cure?" I asked, but when no one answered I looked around. "Owen?"

I sighed and got up following Amilia. "Hey, I know the world sucks and all, but we have to stay strong for the kids. Now that they know that Amber is going to die they'll be more scared then ever that it'll hapen to them. That's why they need strong leaders. So don't cry"

I looked at him"I know but I have been strong for so long I just got tired"

I heard someone say my name from inside so I ducked away from the door

"Where did Owen go?" I asked.

"He snuck out" I jawned.

I nodded. "I know the feeling."

I rna and pulled my gun out of my belt

"you do"I looked into his eyes"I asked you for help becausse I also need someone strong for to long I have run things by myself given orders to keep them alive but now I feel like I just lost my little brother again"I let a silent tear roll over my eye

I smiled and put my forehead on hers "I'm sorry Amber, but I can't let you do that. Not until the sun comes back up." I said softly

I walked up to everyone "Why is people crysings? I was just in the potty. No more crysing nows. Do you want Nat to go get smart boy? I can dow that." I said and smiled.

I nodded "We have a stove of some sort, lets start the fire" I said and gathered wood and put it at the bottom of the stove and started a small but growing fire "There." I said happily.

I snuck back in and strapped my gun to my belt

I smiled softly at her. "No it's okay Nat, you stay here and I'll go and find him" I said and started to get up when Amber tackled me.

"No way! You can barely protect yourself! I'll do it!" I said and tried to stand up. My head started spinning and I stumbled and fell.

God, I hated it when girls cried. It was just so annoying.I sighed. "I'll take care of it" I said.

I nodded"thanks"I kissed his cheek
