The Enemy ( Started; But still open:D )

I caught Amber as she fell. "Whoa there" I said "It's okay, I'll go and get Owen." I said, still holding Amber in my arms.

My eyes widened "Your weeving again Devy?" I asked sadly

"Yeah Natty Nat, I am." I said setting Amber softly on the ground putting the blanket back on her. I got up and grabbed my baseball bat. I kissed Nat softly on the head "I'll be back" I said.

"No no no!" I yelled. "No way in the bad word!"

I flinched. "It's okay Amber, he'll be back. No need to shout" I said softly.

I smiled slightly and walked back to the others.

I walked back behind him"so the antidote is coming Owen needs one more ingridient to finish the antidote but he needs to get it right"I sighed"that anti-biotic I gave Amber should keep her with us for at least to more months"

I nodded and crossed my arms over my chest. "That's good...where can we find this missing ingridient?" I asked.

"Yes it is! He can't leave!" I yelled.

I flinched again and then Amber passed out. "Uh...you better go while she's out Devin" I said.

"not sure but Owen needs the blood of a living grown-up not a slautered one"I shook my head"Oh and then he trys it out on them to get them back to normal the last one exploded"

I laughed half heartedly "Yeah. We face this problem every day. But at least it's food of some sort." I said to her.

My eyebrows raised in a question but I kept it to myself. "Well then I guess I'll go help the little genious. I'll be back." I said and kissed Nat's head again, then kissed Amber on the lips. "Bye" I said and walked out the doors. I ran into the night "Owen!" I called out.

I watched Devy leave sadly.

"Well." I said smuggly. "Is it my turn to talk?" I asked.

I picked up Nat"come on Nat it isn't fun without your smile"

I looked at the ground"they should be better then they were"

"Little Dude!!" I yelled out, raising my bat, ready for anything.

"Shall I announce my exciting news or wait until everyone is here?" I asked

"What dang news?" I snapped.

I groaned.

"take it easy, you're waking her up" I said.

I stared"why would you need to recruit"I demanded

i wlkaed over ot the group, my white shirt stained wiht the remnants of failed expirements

((Well, Devin went out to find Owen, who appaerntly returned now. Amber is passed out and everybody is talking to Hrvy who said he's there to find kids and bring them to the White House))

I went back to the group. I saw Amber had passed out. I ran to her side. " Amber can you hear me?" i asked her.
