The Enemy ( Started; But still open:D )

I nodded and held Nat's hand with my right hand and i had a dagger in my left hand.

I held Faiths hand tightly, a grin spreading wide on my face. It will be the first time outside in three months.


I sighed "Finnally." Moving over to my place and lifting my weapon over my shoulder. I looked over and smirked at Gale.

I took my place and scanned everything-everyone, checking if we had everything and everyone, one last time. I saw Amber and I smiled, but I saw her expression and my eyes softened. 'Are you okay?' I mouthed to her.

"You look happy." I told Nat. as i thought to just forget about Devin. He wants Amber.

I smiled. "okay Natty gets to decide the game."

I smiled at them"just stay in the line ok Nat were playing fallow the leader"I smiled

I smirked back at Becka before making sure that I had all my knifes.

I grabbed my weapon and nodded at Amii. "After you" I said and smiled.

I gave him a weak smile and nodded. 'Yeah' I mouthed back and grabbed my bow and arrows.

"of course"I said keeping my hand on my sword

I coughed"Alrighty family. Let's get this show on the road." I said and punched Devin on his arm, breaking him away from starring at Amber worriedly and back to reality. He nodded to me then went up front and opened the doors that lead outside.

I scouted the parking lot making sure no GP was in sight then signaled Amii that is was clear to come out, taking my place back in formation.

I frowned at 'Follow the Leader'. I tugged at Faith's hand again "Faaaaaaaaaaaa-thy. Nat wants to pwaaa cowboys" I said and smiled up at her

I grinned. "okay. Get on my back i'll be the horse. You'll be the cow girl." I havn't smiled this long in a long time.

I took the lead and walked keeping my eyes open for any sign of trouble

i laughed. "Oh there is now?" I started to run ahead of the others. Knowing they wouldn't care. or atleast i hoped the didn't.

"Faith back in line"I said glaring at her"I know your keeping Nat entertained but I am not taking any more chances"

"Yes, get back here. We do not want to lose anyone" I said, looking around as we walked.

I could almost hear the left out 'Again' at the end of his sentence. I glared at a wall as we passed.

I smiled as we walked. I could hear a sound resembling the ocean. I wondered briefly what could make the noise, since we weren't close to the ocean, but let it go.

"Quit it. Were fine."

I stopped hearing a splash of water"everyone in the trees now the dam broke"

I rushed up ahead. "Natty climb up into the tree okay?"

A sound of panic left my lips as I struggled up the tree "Devy!" I shrilled

I raised my eyebrow and looked into the horizon to see if there was any water coming before I was swept up off my feet and onto Devin's shoulder. He sprinted off towards the tree and threw me upwards. I grabbed onto a branch and pulled myself up.

After Beck was up safely in the tree I ran over to Natalie, pulling her into my chest and holding her tight. The water came following into the street now, fast and swift. I saw Amber at the corner of my eye struggling to run faster than the water. I dashed over and picked her up with my left arm, caring both Nat and Amber to the tree. I handed Nat to Becka then Amber as Becka pulled them up in to the tree. I climbed in afterwards and helped up Faith as we all rushed to get into the safety.

I jumped into the tree and held on tight"is everyone in the tree"

"Look the hero saves the day." i rolled my eyes.

I glared at Faith"ok Faith enough of your annoying attitude I need you to stop being such a downer I just want to protect you all"I said a bit annoyed as the water washed past us

"Well I'm so sorry but if you don;t like it just ignore me then."

"sadly I can't since I am leader of this group"I hissed jumping out of the tree and into the water stabbing my sword into the ground to keep me in place

I smiled as I watched the water. It had been ages since I last swam. I dove into the water after Amii and opened my eyes. It looked weird to see the street under water. It was strangely beautiful.

"Nobody else jumps into the water" I hissed, looking around for Amii and Amber. I could see Amii, and was glad that she was okay. Amber on the other hand was swimming around like nothing serious was going on. She was probably the dumbest girl I had ever met.

"Crap" I swore and jumped into the water after Amber, despite Nick's order. He couldn't order me around and frankly, Amber wasn't a good swimmer. Not even a decent one. I grabbed her arm and pulled her up to the surface before starting to pull her up to the tree again.
