To see him again
To caress her cheek once more
To see the fire blaze in my protectors eyes
To see the fire shine in my warriors eyes
To feel him help my raging fire dim

I want to be with my love so I race down the stairs
To keep my love alive I do the unthinkable, drive to her house

My momma never home uncaring about me

I look at the floor as my dad slams the belt on me again
But pulling up hidden I see her through my windshield and through the glass of the kitchen window

I wince pulling on my shirt, flesh tender
She wincing as the material of her shirt brushes against the new gashes
Six months and I’ll have scars on top of the already faded ones

Emotions intact I need to leave

I grab my bag and keys heading of the car
Taking her duffle bag and keys from the floor she stands slowly
My face a dead give away to my destination
The look on her face tells me where she is going

I can tell my shirt is soaked with blood
I through my truck into reverse and speed back to my apartment
I take the ten minute drive and knock on the door
Ten minutes after I had settled a knock on the door
The door opens and he stands there and my body shakes

I inhale his sent committing it to memory

He pulls the bloody shirt from me and I whimper
Whimpering as I pull her shirt from her back
My skin pulling open and blood dripping down my back to the floor
Gashes reopening, spilling her blood on the floor
He placed me in the tub and I turned the water cold
I strip her of her other clothes and place her in the bath tub, shutting the door as I leave
I hear him rummaging for something in my duffle, clothes
I clean her blood from the floor and find her new clothes
I shudder as the waters temperature hits me like bullets
I walk back in; she’s shuttering as the artic water hilts her skin
I hate hot water running in my cuts
She had turned the warm water to cold
He settles behind me warm on my body
I strip myself and settle behind her
I slide into his lap laying my head on his shoulder, content
She slides onto my lap, head on my shoulder
I look up at him and feel sadness wash over me
Her eyes find mine filled with pain, yet determination
Sobs rack my body as I look at him and say
My heart squeezes as sobs rack her body
“I love you.”
She looks though her tears and utters the phrase I’ve been longing to hear
He don’t say it back but I know he does love me

He holds me close and I drift off into sleep
I hadn’t got the guts to say it back so I wrap my arms around her and hold her close
Peace full in sleep and happy
She falls asleep against me, now in a happy peaceful dream
I feel him stand and towel me and himself off
I stand her in my arms and towel us both off
I’m laid in the bed and him behind me
I lay her on the bed against me
I snuggle close and sigh giving in to total sleep
She snuggles into my chest and sighs deeply, I smooth her dirty blonde hair from her flawless face and down her back
I woke early and left not wanting to hurt him with my pain and suffering
I wake the next morning and she’s gone
He tracked me and I started to cross over
Tracked her to a bus stop on the other side of town
I hear him yell my name and run over
As she crosses the street a truck slams into her
He runs a hand down my face and I black out
I scream her name and run to her side
In and out the beeping telling me I’m still alive
Unconscious but alive, she’ll be in a coma for the next six weeks
I was never alone even when he left
I left her side rarely but when I did she was never alone

Her brother sat at her side wondering why he hadn’t stopped her from getting beaten
Sometime later I was taken home
After seven weeks I took her home and she slept
I get up later that night and tug on his shirt collar
It was three am that morning I lay on the couch, a tug on my shits collar
I wait for his reaction; he stands and hugs me close, hands slipping under his shirt

Love Over Summer With A Vampire

We ran into each other, two Goths in love with vampires in a single cookie cutter town
You asked me out
I showed up
You did not
You tried to kiss me
I slapped you
You laughed and tried to hug me
I knocked you on your butt
You asked me out, again
I accepted
You showed up
I did too
You took me home
I kissed you goodnight
You called the next day, “Want to go to the park?”
I responded, “Sure.”
You picked me up and we went to a movie instead
I hid my face in your chest at the gore
You held me close
I rode home with you
You kissed me goodnight
I went to bed, thinking of you
You showed up at the middle of the night and asked me to be you girl friend
I said, “yes.”
We dated for six weeks then I found out what you are
You said yes and took me to your home
I said, “I don’t care what you are, I love you anyway.”
You said, “And I love you.”
I kissed you under the willow tree
You kissed me back and held the lip lock
I smiled and gave you my cell number, telling you to call anytime
You called the next morning
I asked you over

I introduced you to my parents; they like you a lot and think you’re the one for me
You take me out on a walk, “I’m moving back to Romania.” Is how you break the silence
I kissed you and returned home, alone
You left the next day, without saying goodbye
I cried over my loss of you, and at my broken heart
Sure I have never had one but you ment a lot
My parents got worried when I put the paintings/ photos of you in a box and buried it under the willow tree in our back yard
My mom asked if she could help, wanting to burn the pictures
I told her no, just trying to forget my first love that left
You called a month later, “I’m on my way back.”
I acted like I could care less when I was screaming with joy inside
You showed up in the middle of the night and tossed rocks at my window until I came out side
I smiled at you
You kissed me, holding me close.
My dad caught us and wanted to speak to you
I kissed you goodnight and sat on the front porch, waiting
You came out later, “Happy eighteenth birthday.”
I smiled at you and asked if my dad had told you
You said yes and kissed me goodnight before disappearing into the dark
I went to bed and woke felling like I was being watched
You were sitting at my desk, watching me
I asked you to come lay down
You did and pulled me close
I am wondering if we are ment for each other
You said goodnight and left, for real
I slept, dreaming of you
You asked me over the next day, to meet you parents
I said sure
We spen time in the game room, watching a movie
I overheard them talking, saying that I was the one for him
You smiled at me, apparently he heard them too
I smiled back and wrapped my arms around you
You cuddled me on your lap, holding me close
I looed up at you, you smiled at me with your fangs showing
You asked, “Wold you let me change you, so we could be to gether forever?”
As I was about to respond, your mim and dad walked in
You waked me to the door, they wanted to speak to you
I walked home, decinding yes I would
You showed up later, “They think you’re the one for me.”
I responded, “I know. And yes I would.”
You looked at me confused then smiled, “I knew you would say that.” We net up at cemetery where I spent my time doing home work.
I stood, you knelt on one knee
“Will you marry me?’ you asked
“I smiled and pulled you onto your feet, “Yes,”
You kissed me and put a ring on my finger
We didn’t worry about school, I was going to go off to college
“My mom said she would home school us both in college classes.” You said after kissing me
“Great, now to break the news, I’ll let you talk to Dad while I talk to Mom,” I said and you smiled
We walked to my house and broke the news, his parents were called over
Dads congragulated Him, while I got stuck with the Moms who wer big on planning
On the honey moon you changed me on sacred ground
“We are bound together forever, no one can break the bond,” you told me as we drank the blood from out goblets
“I know,” I said looking at him, “I love you,”
You responded, “And I love you, forever and always.”

Ecstatic
When a girl bumps into your arm while walking, she wants to hold your hand

You saw a girl walking in the hall, eyes red and tear marks on her face
You purposefully ran into her and asked, “Are you alright?”
She answered, “I’m fine,” after a few seconds
She started walking away and you asked her out, knowing that when a girl answers “I’m fine,” after a few seconds she is not at all fine
She shrugged her shoulders and you walked her home, exchanging phone numbers
When you got to know her you relised that
This girl never smiles unless your are around
This girl has seen lot of pain
This girl needs someone that loves her
When she called you in the middle of the night, you rushed over
Her dad was dying
His last words were to you, “Keep her safe and make her smile again.”
She let you spend the night in her room, she cried on your shoulder
All because you said she could
You slept in the same bed as her,
All because she asked you to stay
You fell in love with her
When she answered, “Yes I will,” she was smiling at you
And you smiled back, now claiming her as yours and keeping her safe
Just like you promised

This girl has seen a lot of pain

But she know a flower grows every time it rains because you give her one when she cries
And this girls got a lot of dreams
She knows that tomorrow isn’t what it seems
She might not solve the mystery tonight
But this girl is going to smile again

Sometimes You Find Something and You Want It to Last

Death isn’t funny, but it is permanent
It’s away to get away from your problems

Well, so is being put in an institution
Depression is a sign
So is wanting to commit suicide
Locking yourself in your room is a bad sigh too
Wanting to be put in a foster home is another one
So is wishing your whole life that you were adopted

After graduation, in front of his parents since all your family was dead now

While you were walking down the isle
At the end, you drank from a goblet, red liquid inside that tasted metallic but delicious like everything you’d ever wanted
At the reception, you pulled him aside, asking if he was a vampire
He said yes and showed you his fangs and asked if you wanted to leave because he hadn’t told you
You said no, kissing him feeling the sharp points of his fangs

He told you that he loved you like his own and answered your questions
Yes they all were vampires and so were her parents
You two were promised to each other at birth
It’s a wonder that you two fell in love
Amazing that you took him back after what had happened
You agreed and went to find him, sitting and watching you
A protective aura about him
He pulled you down to sit on his lap
“You liked my blood in the goblet, because you have my DNA in you already. The part of my that has been in you since the first kiss would pull you to like the taste. When your changed you will have to feed when you wake, I’ll be there with bottled or myself, you get to choose which you want.”
You pulled him close and he nuzzled you neck, “I chose you over anything else in the world. It’s your blood I want.” I said nipping at his jugular vein.
“Good because by then I’ll need to feed too. It can be a sexual experience. I don’t want to hurt you.”
I you smiled at him and held him close, “You said that when we did it the first time, in the dark hidden under the willow. You didn’t hurt me then and you won’t hurt me now.”
He kissed me and let me up to dance, holding me close the whole time
We’d been night people since we were thirteen, school a thing we hated
Now that we were flying to Romania for the honeymoon, I let him hold me to his chest
We had three weeks and on the second week when we were curled up together in the bed he looked at me and smiled, his fangs elongated
I rolled onto my back; he climbed on top o me as I bared the left side of my neck
It hurt at first, but it became pleasure when my own fangs were released and I sunk mine into his neck
We had agreed to do this unclothed, it proved to be useful
His mom was so happy when we retuned, him showing me off, his vampire bride
Sometimes you find a person you want to be with your whole life and it has to last forever and eternity.
Even if he has made stupid and maybe unforgivable mistakes in the past
But he has you
And you have him
You’ll last forever with each other

Then stormed out, because your attitude

When you two married, she was three months in with twins

And your baby girl, grew up to sing at their games and sell so many records
You two stayed together through everything, even your baby girl killed by a serial killer
Your sons committed suicide, because they were who your baby girl was supposed to meet

And when you remembered your only baby left, your wife, couldn’t have kids
You adopted, and filled the house with kids.
You kept them all safe and when death took you both at the same time in a freak accident
You weren’t worried, you were glad to see your kids again and were happy that
You all were okay and back together.

I’m 17

I’m a quiet person
You loud and out going on the football team
I keep to myself and my three other friends

You waited at home, she came home late, as usually by about five minutes and
she told you she hadn’t eaten lunch because she was behind and needed to work a little yet
As she talked you sat behind her on the island counter, pulling out the ring
You waited until she turned around, you smiled
She hugged you “Oh,” she hugged you tighter
“I got it today,” you told her and she kissed your cheek, “I didn’t want to push you away anymore.” You told her
“Good, I thought about setting you up with a jeweler to start your mind whirling.” She told you and you hugger her as you got off the counter
“Come on,” you kissed her and walked back to the bedroom

You and her were married a year later, her about three months in
A boy came six months later, he grew up to be the best big brother ever and a pro hockey player
Said your little baby girl, who ended up being one of the best movie writers ever

So, don’t ignore the one you love
Don’t push her away
Always ask how her day was, even if you don’t really want to know

I didn’t fight because I was so tired,

Tacked on your walls were your secrets
Posters that were like mine covered the walls
A black bed spread and an anthem laying one it.
You told me you were casting a wiccan spell to find someone like your secret side to help you
To become who you really are
I told you I’d help you in my sleepy haze
You laid me down and said you’d be on the couch if I needed you
I told you to lay on the floor, not wanting to know what his roommate could do to me
While I was asleep.
We ended up falling in love and getting married after were were out of college and setteled in our jobs.
We raised a family and will stay together until we go, toghather, hand in hand like how all this started.

Darkness
Hell calls to me,
Trying to claim me
And all I can do is fight it
This current of darkness
Stronger than it should be on me
But the darkness is like a blanket
Thick and warm
Cradling my worn body with in it
A protective shell around me, suffocating me
My will is collapsing
And my strength is disappearing
How all I can do is sit and wait
As darkness grows closer and I grow darker
Welcoming the warmth after such a long fight

Who Will Save Me?
The depth of hell call to me
And my slowly blackening soul
One was the creature of the sun
But now
One of the moon and stars
All I can do is sit and hide
As a battle rages inside of me
Light and dark
Fighting each other for control
Of my weakening body

Anger is like a demon,
