School for the gifted. (Anyone can join!)

Nevaeh nodded "Yea...I'm fine..." Her words stumbled out. Her own voice shocking her since she rarely spoke. Her friends she left a long time ago. They where suppost to have a camp out but Nev never showed up and her friends where in the forest alone. Nev was usually the one to get them to have fun. Instead all of those girls where reported missing after that night. Nev never understood it but she beat herself up everyday no matter what she was doing. She didn't like to touch people either.

Nev turned and walked off. Her head again gone as it processed her last moments with her once friends that where now gone. She hated to think about that. Her mind never stopped though. Her head screamed for help as she wanted so badly to turn back the time. She about fell down the steps when she turned the corner. Another girl was standing there as she was about to scream. Her mind finally snapped back to where it would function.

I stepped out of the squad car, and one of the coppers through me my bags, "This place will sort you out freak!!" He said as they sped off, leaving me standing just inside the gates in a cloud of dust and tire smoke, picking up my bags I started walking towards what I hoped was the administration building, this school set up really was confusing.

Nevaeh stumbled down the steps and out the door. She hit someone's feet that was walking inside as she held her sides. "Dam that first step is a rough one." She mumbled under her breath as she tried to get up.

"hey, are you alright?" I asked reaching down to help her up

Nevaeh looked up at him as she took his hand and stood up. Her face red from falling. "Yea....I'm alright..." Her voice was soft as she tried not to keep eye contact. Her body a tad stiff from a new person talking to her.

"sorry, I'm new here and not really sure about what is going on, could you help?" she looks kinda cute i thought to myself

Nevaeh blushed as the wind picked up around her. "Sure....What are you looking for?" She would look up into his eyes then look down. She moved some from not knowing what to do. He was cute but she wasn't sure if she could help him.

"The admin block, for one, I was told I had to see the principal or something when I first got here, so I'm assuming they would be there"

Nevaeh nodded as the wind blew her hair. "Yea...I can take you there." Her voice becoming a little more louder but not by much. She turned and walked back into the school and started up the steps. "So...Why are you here if you don't mind me asking?" She asked kindly.

I followed a little behind her, "I got arrested and melted the bars on the cell i was in, one of the cops pulled his gun on me and fired, I dodged the bullet and took the gun from him, then crushed it in my fist, I passed out after that and woke up just down the road there" I said, not knowing why I seemed to trust this girl I'd just met

Nev giggled a tad "Sounds like you had fun." She joked as they walked down the hall. "You ended up better then some of us. Some of us killed in order to get here." Her voice was softer as she said that but she didn't care. She let her fingers trail across the wall a little as they walked.

"I'm sorry." I didn't know what else to say.

Nev shook it off and kept walking. "It's ok." Her voice back to being quiet. Her mind trailed off and forgot where she was walking as she talked to this stranger. "No one here has a happy story. Even some that look sweet or look like an Angel." She looked up at him. Her eyes showed sadness a little but most of it was hard to figure out. "Sorry...I'm not trying to make you hate this place before you even begin..." She blushed.

i smiled at her "It's ok, i guess it kind of makes sense"

' Hey you two. Can you shut up. Your both thoughts are really getting on my nerous." i was not in my best mood today.

Nev's face got brighter as she looked at him. She was shocked he didn't ask her how she got here since she asked. Not like she wouldn't tell him if she asked. She walked back down a set of steps and turned the corner. "still I shouldn't have you hate this place before you even start. I'm Neveah by the way. It's nice to meet you?" She smiled a little at him. A touch of happiness in her eyes now. Nev heard the voice and giggled "Or you could be like everyone else and tone everyone out." She said outloud and in her head. either way the girl would hear her.

"nice to meet you neveah, I'm john" i said, "what did she mean by our thoughts?" I asked now completely confused.

" I would if i could. Hm you two would be cute together don't you think? I am Isabella by the way. Yes i did mean your thoughts. John."

I was stunned at her bluntness, I'd only just met neveah and already, people thought that. "h..hi.. Isabella, so you read thoughts?" I stammered

" Yup. Don't be scared i don't bite. well she is giggleing John. Its a sign."

Nev sighed as she mentally was smacking Isabella. "Isabella...mind your own business..." The wind in the halls picked up to a frightening speed. her mind was gone which ment she was about to loose what little sense of thought she had left before she let the winds control her. She was still walking.

"if you think so." I was completely out of my depth at this school, I really needed to find the principal to have this explained to me.

" I will i can't help it ok. Sorry. You know whats its like to be lied to and used? It sucks."
