"I am Aston Black my lady," I said bowing down to her happily.

"Hi aston. so you seem to know my sister..."

I shook my head. "I never met her but I know of her. That's Alice's door," I said pointing to the door that she had just come through.

i didnt understand...."would you happen to know where to get a good cup of tea?"

I smiled. "I was just on my way back to the palace," I said. "There should be some tea there."

i nodded and followed him

"So.." I said.

"what is there to do in underland?" i asked him

"Well... It depends on who you are. If you are the White Queen or the Black King you can do magic," I said. "There are parties that happen often in the White Castle."

"who is the black king?"

I smiled. "You're speaking with him," I said. "Although the technical term right now would be Duke. The castle is still under cleansing from the Red Queen's rule. So I wont be moving in for a while." Plus I still have a few tests that I needed to pass.

i did what was natural when he said that....i curtsied...

I groaned. "Please don't," I said. "Formalities are so.... Red queen era."

i was confused now.....i didnt know the social norms here....

"Just speak with me the way you were just a minute ago," I said.

i stayed silent

I sighed and bowed back to her. "It is a pleasure to meet you my lady but I would very much prefer that you speak with me as though I were a long friend," I said.

"Sorry....i guess the social norms here are different than in England...." I said softly

"Most likely miss," I said. "Or at least it is for me."

"I-I-I just have grown up with social norms where one bows or curtsies to those who are a higher rank....." i said softly

"Don't do that," I said. "Feel free to do it to the White Queen but not to me."

"Why?" i asked

"Because For the last 10 years to not believe in formalities."

"Oh" i said softly again

"Yeah," I said. I walked around a blade of grass and smiled at her from the other side. "I'm just a regular person."
