| My screams were so loud they could be heard through the whole island. But not in their ears. Inside of their minds. No! Stop it! Please! I could even hear what the animals were thinking. Everything said in their native language but understood as my own. The Hick is back... they have returned!... Our king will save us... the animals all thought this. The vampires and humans thought of only What was that?... sounded like Aston... Must have been the wind or something.. Only few heard and understood me.

| I passed out from the thoughts. The memories... Everything. I sent out one thought to one person though. Even if I hate your family... I still love you, I thought to Moon.

| It was useless. I couldn't even smell her now. I walked back inside and tried to find Aston.
"You've returned," I heard a male voice say. I knew I was dreaming. "My son. My boy," a girl's voice say.
"What?" I looked around. I was surrounded my mist. A hand in the mist appeared and fell on my head. It was a caress.
"Aston," the first voice said. "Remember everything. Everything that you knew and your parents knew. And your parents before your parents. And their parents before them. All the way to the first king. To the first Hick." The man's hand shifted down and touched my closed left eye. I saw everything. The beginning and the end. The stories that were told and... I woke up. I knew what had happened. I looked around. My family's tomb was here. I walked down the hall to the center. The heart of the castle. | |

| There was a stone panel there. I touched it softly. "Aston Ronalds Hicks," I said as I rested my hand on it. "King of the Golden Kingdom." Then a table rose from the floor on a pedestal. On the pedestal was a cape and outfit that was not my own. But it did not matter. They were mine now. I shed my clothes and dressed my self in them. They were the uniform of royalty. My left eye, which I could not see out of, was my crown. I stepped onto the pedestal and said, "Moon Jane Blackwell's location." I could see through my left eye again. She was asleep in the meadow. Meadow of the Kings. "Bring me to her." And then I was there. Standing behind her.((Here is what Aston looks like now for those who have never seen "Code Geass":   )) | |
