Slowly i tried walking towards them, my father came closer.

Marcus, it's not your time yet. You have to go back.

I began to cry, I wanted to hug him but I couldn't move. "Dad...I...want to stay with you." He shook his head and smiled.

You have someone who cares about you still. It will come one day, we will see each other again. Only when the world has turned to darkness and you face the impossible, we will talk again.

Marcus's eyes opened as his hand gently grabbed arthurs. "Sorry about that..." He whispered with a smile. "Dad took to long to chat." He laughed softly. His heart was pounding like a jackhammer in his chest, his skin brightened instantly and he sat up abruptly. "I guess I was right..can't really die. This damn curse has it in for me I swear." He smiled and seemed more then alright.

"I can't die...Dad wouldn't let me join him and the others. He said I had a lot to do, so I'm guessing i can't die till i do something. I also learned something." He hugged Arthur close, burying his face into Arthur's shoulder. He slowly rubbed Arthur's back. "By the way...You can still drink my blood. I can't die from blood loss. My heart starts back up."

"I think it would be better then hunting and having the urge to nip on ally." He sighed as he laid into him. His eye's were glazed and weak from the blood loss. He had his whole body drained and refilled with blood in a quick amount of time. "I need to go get something to eat, but I'm kind weak in the legs. Can you grab me something?" He slowly laid back down and tried to relax.

As he laid there in bed he wondered how ally was doing. Immediately he opened his eye's and was sitting next to ally, his hand holding her as he held it to his face, it was warm. Smooth, his eye's looked her over. She was ok, she wasn't hurt. He wondered how many times she would have to forget the pain.

I don't know why but when I got up I went straight to Marcus's room. He held my hand and smiled at me. "Are you alright?" I asked. "You seem a bit toasty."

Arthur had just finished the pancakes just when Ally got up. He brought the sandwich up to Marcus's room and said, "You're both up. Good. Marcus had a ruff night last night so i helped him out."

Marcus was to caught in the stair. He simply looked at her with soft eye's. Holding her hand with his to his face, feeling her warmth, he was caught in it all. Caught in the past. He was trying to remember something.

I smiled down at the boy. So young. So innocent. "Marcus? Are you feeling alright?" I asked again. He seemed to have a bit of a fever. He was.... I groaned and put a hand to my head. Something.. Oh it must have been a forgotten dream.

"I'm just a bit under the weather. I'll be fine." He gave her a reassuring smile as he laid back. He could smell breakfast being mad. But he hungered something more bloody and fleshy. He slowly closed his eye's as he tried to rest. In his mind he could see the old man, something came to a horrid realization.

He's my Uncle.

I sighed and got up. "Alright," I said. "Call if you need anything. Me and Arthur are staying in tonight so we'll be here for you tonight."

"Ok.." He whispered as he laid back down for a good portion of the day goes by while he rests, then he decides to go for a walk. Even as far as to leave a note on his door.

Gone out for a walk, i'll be back within the hour or two.

He was heading out into the forest to find the old man, he knew that man would not stray far from him wherever he may go. It was his job to keep his eye's on him. And It was long before the two stood opposite of each other,staring each other down.

Me and Arthur were on the couch talking about what was going on for a while. We watched CNN to look at the news but we hardly watched it. We did however sneak kisses on each other every once in a while. that might have been when Marcus snuck out of the house too. Because I don't recall having heard him leave.

The two simply stood opposite of each other,staring with anger in their eye's. But slowly Marcus calmed down and the old man did the same. "So, we're related." He said softly and the old man nodded. "And yet you couldn't save them?" The old man shook his head no. "I see." He spoke softly as they encircled each other, eye to eye they slowly began to transform.

"I'm going to kill you, your a threat to Ally,Arthur and our existence." He took a fighting stance, it wasn't long till both were clawing at each other.

Arthur pulled back and looked around. "Did you hear that?" he asked me.
"No," I said pulling him back into the kiss. I hadn't heard anything.

The two fought relentlessly,taring at one another skin till both were bloody messes. Slowly they changed back, both cut up,torn and bloody. Slowly Marcus backed away. "Why..why are you here?" The old man laughed and pointed at him. "Because your alive, i have to train you." Marcus laughed as he sat against a tree. "Ya but I don't want you to train me. I don't want any part of being a hunter."

Arthur pulled back again and looked worried. "What's going on with you?" I asked.
"I have to go to the bathroom," he said getting up and going up stairs.

Arthur went up stairs and opened Marcus's door slowly. He wasn't there. The vampire cussed at himself in his mind. He ran for the window and snuck out silently to go look for him. Only to see Marcus locked in a battle with that old werewolf. Arthur ran up from behind them and stood in front of Marcus, growling.

The old man laughed as he saw the vampire jump in to shield the boy. 'Ah you still wish to interfere vampire? He laughed loudly as he stood a giant amongst the three, his wounds healing rather quickly as his muscles began to bulged out.

'Arthur, you should..be protecting ally! If you leave her alone..she's in danger!" He knew this old man would summon a small wolf pack to attack the house. And they were, a three wolf's were closing in on the house.

"He won't kill me because he promised dad he wouldn't, he's my uncle." Marcus said dryly as his wounds were slowly healing, but not as fast as usual. "Go back to the house, he sent wolves there!" Marcus could'nt move to much. He pushed Arthur away. "She's more important right now, she's human. If she dies she stays dead! I won't die so easily! Go!"

The old man was laughing heavily. "You better listen to the boy blood sucker, your blood supply is in danger. I can hear my wolf's panting at the doorstep wanting to taste that succulent piece of meat you've been keeping to yourself!" He laughed as he transformed. Marcus did the same and rush the old man and the two were fighting once again.

Marcus was able to get a nice shot and knocked the man down with a winded strick to the chest with his foot. sending him into a tree. He laughed in wolf form and Marcus charged only to get thrown into the same tree and knocking it down. Both scrapped for a few more seconds then departed as Marcus changed back and the old man was gone. "I'll kill you next time.." He breathed as he left to head back into the house, he got in through his open window and got dressed quickly. "What's all this yelling?" He opened his door as if just woken up to see ally cowering in fear. Lucky none of the wolfs gotten inside.

Arthur fought off the wolves as best as he could. he could smell Marcus was with Ally now, so the man sighed with relief. Ally would be safe. He snapped the neck of a female wolf under his foot as the others escaped.

I watched in fear as Arthur fought off the animals like they were nothing. He didn't even fight off gangs like this. His eyes were col with blood lust... I'd only seen a look like that once or twice. When we would have to take down the owners of coke labs or a serial killer. But never with Arthur. It scared me. When I saw Marcus I wanted to run to him. Keep me safe from the man that I loved. But I couldn't move my body. I closed my eyes and heard a loud snap/ When I opened my eyes I saw Arthur. Standing over the body of a wolf, his foot on it's neck and... Arthur was covered in blood. But it wasn't his blood. His clothes were tattered but he still looked like new. "My God," I whispered.
