Marcus leaned back in the chair. Feeling the new hairdo was quite shorted then his old hair even, though it fit perfectly. Almost looking similar to Arthur himself. Probably the only style he knew. He closed his eye's as he sat there, feeling the vampire's hands on his shoulder.

"She was my sisters best friend, a good friend to our family. She took me in when I was going to be thrown in jail. She's someone I would give my life for. I would shield her from everything that dares lay a hand on her."

Marcus smiled as he knew that was the answer Arthur wished to hear. But he did have an inkling feeling of affection towards the young a body of Ally. It was only natural for a males hormones to act up at his age. Slowly he helped Arthur sweep up the mess and then went back to bed till early morning where he found himself in the kitchen making a large breakfast. Bacon, home fries and scrambled ages mixed with vegetables. He learned to cook from his mom, he missed her home cooked meals. His mind wandering, but suddenly stopped. He couldn't remember what she looked like, which made him from for a few moments.

After they had cleaned up Arthur went back to bed. He woke up later to take a shower. After that Marcus had gotten up. Ally was the last one to get up.

I yawned and reached for the body that was not there. I sat up and looked at the clock. Where had my Saturday gone? I groaned and got dressed. I'll take my shower after Arthur gets out. Or is it Marcus in the shower? No. I bet it's Arthur he's always been a morning bird... and a night owl. He's always in a good mood when he wants to be. I walked down stairs and saw a strange man making breakfast. His back turned to me. I froze and reached for my gun. Pointing it at him I said, "Who are you and what are you doing in my house?"

Marcus smiled when he heard her pull her gun out and aimed it at him. "I woke up early and decided to make breakfast for you and dad. Did you sleep well mom?" He smiled as he turned his head slowly, his face was aged a bit but his eye's still stayed the same. He had a similar hair cut to Arthur and the color stayed the same. If she didn't recognize him he would poke Arthur and make fun of Ally for having bad memory because of him. He gently placed the knife aside and turned around, He was wearing a tight T-shirt and short baggy pajama bottoms. He was ripped, and his body looked like a super model. Handsome,strong and many women would desire him. He came off as one of those dark and dangerous looking young men who swoon the ladies with a motorcycle and strong attitude.

My mouth fell open and I dropped the gun. Gladly it didn't go off. "My god. What the f*** happened to you Marcus?" I asked. Where was that little kid who had just lost his parents earlier this week? That little kid with the short-ish long-ish hair style that I saw on boys his age more often then not. That little kid that I remembered have dinner with when I went over to his house with his sister. Here was... this... man who could easily pull off 21. He was ripped and.... if I didn't love Arthur I would have easily started flirting with him any other place. "Oh god." That was the point in which my legs gave out from under me and I lost conscience.

Marcus grunted as he quickly rushed forward and caught her easily, carrying the poor girl to the couch and laying her down gently. Marcus grabbed her gun and placed somewhere more safe. "Hey Arthur...Ally passed out when she saw me." He then went back to cooking, hopefully the poor girl will survive.

Marcus was sitting in the living room chair eating some sausage,becon and eggs. "Your foods on the kitchen table, might have to heat it." He said before stuffing his face. "You feeling better mom?" He asked in a gently voice as he leaned back. "I guess this is kinda scary for you. I'm sorry I didn't have dad wake you up and tell you about the growth spurt."

I blinked and looked at him. "That's one helluva growth spurt," I said sitting up and removing the small towel. "You look like you're 21! Minimum! That is not natural... I... He..." I was speechless to say the least. Then i starred off into space before saying. "Yeah. Alright. Um... Arthur can you go get me the eggs?" Then I laid back again and sighed. What happened to my life? To my simple life?

"I'll get em." Marcus mumbled as he rolled his eyes, standing he looked as though taller then Arthur. He gently stepped to the kitchen,heating he r eggs and putting a dab of ketchup on the side. He came back in and gave her the plate.

I took the eggs and nodded, still starring up at the boy... I mean man. "This'll take some getting used to. I think. Um.... I'm going to go get some air. Alone please." I set the eggs down on the couch and went outside.

Arthur looked at the boy and sighed. "I think she took that better then expected."

Marcus looked up and pointed at the frantic looking women outside, Ally was not ok. "YOu call that taking it well?" The wolf boy laughed as he leaned back. "Might as well tell her i'm not little boy anymore." He sighed as he finished his plate. "How are you holding up, your hunger doing alright."

"What would have been worse was me getting up after being shot." He grunted as he was not answered. Again he would push the vampire to accept. He got up and walked over to Arthur as he got up nice and close. "Are you in hunger?"

"Then when she rests, I'll feed you." He meant to turn away but spun about and pointed at the vampire. " And don't give me lip about drinking from me, this helps the both of us. calms me down and keeps you nice and healthy." The young wolf then went off into the kitchen and cleaned the dishes. He was grumbling something, maybe thinking to heavily on some thing.

Marcus's whole body snapped into predator mode as he jumped out the door and began sniffing the air wildly to get her scent. Please...

I screamed through the cloth that was on my face. No! No no no no! It smelt fowl and acidic. I was.. falling asleep? I couldn't be. I... "Arthur! I screamed in a tired voice. "Marcus..." Then I fainted for the second time today as I was pulled into a truck and was driven away.

"She walked out of the yard," Arthur said smelling the air. "And... humans.. they took her." He knew just who took her too. "It's from a local gang. She arrested their top drug buyers earlier this week. Let's move!"

Marcus lost himself in the rage. 'Those @!#$'s better not lay a @!#$ing finger on her!" He just rushed down the street, moving faster then any car could travel. His heavy huffing heared as he roared like a furious beast. following her scent as he was catching up with the vehicle.

"No!" He roared as he threw his hood up to hide his face as he tackled the van from the back, pulling the pit maneuver as he grabbed the back of the van and made it skid sideways before slamming it down to a stop. He quickly tore off the doors and grabbed the first two guys he could see and threw them like rag dolls till he had Ally passed out in his arms. He sniffed her, she was alive but knocked out with chloroform.

He had little time to check as he felt the hot small points of bullets tar through his back as he was shot with an automatic. He leaped into the nearby forest and continued running away to protect alley, he soon collapsed as he made his way back to the house, leaving Ally in the backyard. Collapse to the ground as he laid there riddled with bullets.

Marcus broke out laughing as he sat up. Muscles flinched and clenched together. "No, leave' em. Their souvenirs." He grinned as the holes closed up on their own.He made sure to cover the holes and throw the sweater away later. He slowly lifted Ally but felt weak as he carried her to her room and laid her down. "Stay with her..." He mumbled as he went to his room and changed his cloths and rested.
