" But i've done a lot of bad things. This is the first night in 3 years where i haven't been reckless." i looked away from him.

"I was reckless when I was a young vamp too but I never doubted myself that much. Embrace what you are to become not what you were."

" But you," i stopped with a sigh. I fiddled with my fingers " Its just not that easy." i said as i started walking back toward the mansion.

"Why not? What did you do like kill the pope or something?" I asked her. "There are obsticals in life that you have to get over."

" Its just been easier to put myself down than to hope." i looked at him as i walked. " And that might not make sense to you. But its what i've known for a long time." I sighed. " I don't want to get hurt again, i don't want to have hope when hope has failed me so many times."

I didn't know what to say to that, I had no witty comeback, or anything that reassuring. This was going to be alot of work, but I was going to do it, she was beautiful and she didn't need one loser to ruin that for her.

I kept walking and my pace picked up. " I'm gonna go clean up." i turned away from him and headed straight for the mansion. It was like a could hear my non existing heart beat.

I headed to my room, I needed to get ready too. I was going to make her feel special tonight, she should after a long time of feeling not special, I was going to brighten that mood. I was a man on a mission. I smiled at my pun and walked to my room.

I closed the door behind me and walked into the attached bathroom. I looked the same as always. Nothing was changed. I turned on the water and let it simmer before getting in and letting the water run down my back. I hadn't felt this way in a long time.

I walked into my room and i jumped in the shower real quick, I new we weren't going anywhere fancy, but I didn't want to look bad for her. I was actually happy to have a reason to dress up for some one. I haven't done that since Victoria and this felt better to do it for her.

I put on some clothes i had found in one of the dressers. At first, i thought these were Victoria's clothes. But then i remembered that dark jeans didn't exist that long ago. I put on a nice looking top and sighed as i looked in the mirror.

I smield and looked at myself in the mirror. I was ready, I walked downstairs and waited in the foyer for her. For some reason I was really nervous about tonight, I really hope I didn't screw this up

" Don't say anything stupid Beiya." i mumbled to myself. I smirked. " Like i already hadn't." i opened to door out of my room and headed down stairs to see Roman standing there, ready. I smiled lightly.

I smiled and watched her come down the stairs. She looked amazing in those jeans. "You look beautiful." I said and held out my arm to her. "Shall we?"

" You don't look too bad yourself." i smiled at him and took his arm. I could have sworn i felt blood rush to my cheeks. But i knew that wasn't possible. Vampires don't blush.

I smiled and ran my hand over my shirt subconciously. "Thank you. I just threw this together." I said with a slight chuckle. It actually took me the whole time to find this.

I smiled. " So where are we going?" i asked curiously. And how many humans will be around i added to myself. I didn't trust myself. I was scared. But something told me things would be okay.

"It is a very small little restaraunt on the outskirts of town." I said "It is very secluded not many people know about it." I said smelling her worries.

I nodded. " Sounds good." i smiled, relieved. "How do you know about this place?" i asked as i tried to make small talk, not a usual thing for me.

"When I stopped attacking people I walked around this city and I found it. This plave has been here for a very long time." I said "I haven't bee here since the last time I was here. I called ahead of time so they are still here." I smiled

" That's a long time." i noted and glanced over at him, nervous. Why was i nervous?

I smiled over at her. "yeah it is, I just hope the food is still good." I smiled and wrapped my arm around her shoulder hoping she didn't knock it off.

I smiled shyly at him. For some reason this felt right. Though i didnt know what to do, i`ve only known him for two days. The nerves set in.

I smiled at her and sighed in relief, what was it about this place that made me happy, I was so glad that I had found her. I wanted her to feel happy too.

I cleared my throat. "So Roman, tell me about yourself." i said as i tried to make small talk, again not my thing. I closed my mouth immiedately feeling stupid for the question i had asked.
