"But what if something does." i argued.

"But it won't. so lets not dwell on the negative."

I clenched my jaw as i headed to the kitchen to find blood.

I followed her. "Colm down.

I looked in the fridge in hopes to find the blood that was poured in a glass. "'You don't know what he's capable of."

I looked at her. "I don't even care what he is capable of." I told her. "I am going to protect you from him if it is the last thing I do."

"I think i should have that same right." i said grabbing a bag that had blood in it. I turned to look at him.

I looked at her. "Are you okay?"

I stared at the blood blankly. My throat burned for it and yet i couldn't. I looked back up at him. "I don't know what to do Roman."

"Drink it." I said "You can have it."

I shook my head as i put the blood back and sat at the counter. I sighed. "I can't."

"Yes you can do it."

I couldn't believe what i was saying but i just shook my head. "I really can't." i told him. "I'll stick to my all human food diet."

"No you eat that then go to the diet."

I sighed as i got up to get the bag of blood again and began drinking it.

I smiled and watched her.

"There you happy?" i asked him as i crumbled the bag in my hand.

I smiled at her "The question is are you?"

I sighed and smiled lightly. "I'm with you arn't i?"

I laughed and hugged her. "Yes you are."

I smiled snuggling into his embrace.

I kissed the top of my head. "So who won the race?"

I blinked a few times as i stared at him. I had forgotten all about the race. "Well since i never made it to the border of the cemetery, i guess that makes you the winner." i smiled at him.

"Oh yeah.I'm skilled."
