i tried to move. but a jolt of pain caused me to lay back down.

"Stay down..it's gonna hurt..."I sighed.

I closed my eyes and then opened them,I walked back in,"okay so I'll go see if we can move her...then we'll start packing,"I showed no emotion as I started to put up my gaurd again.
Inside it was killing me that he attacked Nika..why her?

i fought through the pain getting up. "no" i said.

"Yes,"I said,I looked at her,"look at you...you see what he did!"I said,"well now

i was barly holding myself up. "i dont care" i said.

"Lay down,"I sighed,I looked at Eli then away at Devon.I went to the mirror and looked at my cuts,"he did worse on you...even though he was trying to hurt me.."I brushed hair outta my eyes,"he'll probably bring the baseball bat."

I looked at her,"Nike stays...and you... both..will be gaurded."

i didnt lay on the bed. the pain was there but it didnt matter.

"Nika just lay down your hurt" i said.

"no" i said.

"always so stubern" i muttered.

I met Devon's gaze in the mirror,"she'll be watched.."I said,"I won't I have to protected her like I protect you.."

I ran a hand threw my hair and said,"no... not this time you will be protected too...and Nika it's a good idea to lay down.."

"He right,"I said to Nike,"it'll hurt.."then I faced her,"did he...do anything to you?"

i sat on the bed."i dont really know i black out before he did anything." i said.

i took the pill drinking the water. i grabbed some clothes going into the bathroom. i looked in the mirror and saw the marks that would become scars.

"its not your fault." i said walking over to her.

and my body was sore.

i looked into her eyes."no its not your fault" i said.

i felt a tear slip down my face.

i shook my head clearing the tears that were forming. i got changed. walking out. "well this time i let him in. well not on purpose i thought you might have forgotten your key so i opened the door." i said.

i sat on my bed.

I walked back over to where I was and sat down again,I looked up at the boys,"can you guys stay?"and for once in my life I knew I looked scared to death.

"I can stay.."I said looking at her then at Nika.

"Okay.."I my put my head in my hands and said,"Devon can you.... go start the shower please?"

I nodded and went then walked out,"it;s ready.."I watched,she was shaking..I never seen her look like this,I mean maybe she finally cracked..I frowned.

I hugged him back,closing my eyes. I would get myself toegther in the shower I had to.
I kissed his lips quickly before walking into the bathroom and closing the door.

I yanwed,"okay Nika I think you should...and I really mean this get some rest."

I stood there then whispered,"Spirit please help sooth and protect Nika so she can sleep."
