Hiding,surviving and loving....((Open Join))

I sighed and sat on my bed,I suddenly wan;t hungrey for three reasons:1) I couldn't use my powers.. well I wasn;t good at using them 2) I can't read his mind to see what he is thinking and 3) back at the school when I admitted I liked him .. he didn't say anything back to me.. meaning he wants to be just friends...
I sighed and layed down,two years I have been in love with trevor,and yet I'm stilla friend?

"Deya, he is Oliver. Oliver, Deya" I introduced them smiling

"Yeah, that´s me " I smiled at the girl and offered her my hand so she would shake it "Nice to meet you, Deya"

I started to play with my hackie sack. I was glad soccer season was going to come up.

I smiled. One thing about nature it that it wasn't annoy like the city.

"Mel, come here a sec" i yelled, hoping she'd hear. I sat up, grabbed the ice and stood, a little shaky for the least. I shook hiYou in school?" i asked, ""cause i'm running the show."

I tried reading anyone's mind and didn't work,I screamed in frustration.I grabbed my camera and stormed outta the house,needing a breather I went to find something or someone to be my inspiration.

"What brings you here Oil ?" I called him by his nickname

"Curiosity, and come on! I missed my friend" I answered

I walked after her, "Mel, your off, spill it." i said.

I left the park and headed back home. I hummed. I opened the back door and walked inside. "Whos that guy?" i asked April.

"I can't use any of my powers like everyone else!"I said as I tried taking pictures,"and then there's also ...Trevor.."I muttered,I looked at my camera.

I looked at her, "Who else have you tried it on? We'll get to Trevor later, trust me, girl, i'm having the same issues." I smiled softly.

"A friend" I said smiling

"April you should have told me before you had such hot girlfriends" I said as I smiled

I smiled the frowned.,"Everyone.."I muttered

i rolled my eyes. "Oh wow. Some friend you have April he is a real gentleman." i said sarcasticly.

I sighed and snapped a picture,"Maybe I don't have powers after all."

"The years have ruined his head completely" I said laughing

I frowned at April´s comment, I wasn´t shallow , I just said what I really thought

I looked at her, "Don't say that, it freaked me out when i lost mine temporarily. You know why you can't get in my head, it's like trying a million souls at once. I want you to clear your head, of everything."

"Ouch. Don't worry kid. Your mind will clear up soon." i grinned.

I closed my eyes and cleared my head.

"My mind is already cleared, she´s just saying that to annoy me" I said "By the way, I didn´t catch your name"

I laughed, I liked annoying Oliver

" i can tell you liked being annoyied. i like how you say whatd on your mind and I'm Ashley."

I sighed and tried reading her mind.

I sighed, "Focus me, only me," i let the shadows out, "I'm me, for now, so focus."

I nodded and focused on her,I smiled,*I can hear your thoughts* i thought to her.
