I nodded and moved off to one side, "Same to you


I elbowed him in the stomach, hard, "How's that for a start?"

I moved towards the door,gun drawn as I did.

I walked up the stairs, just enough the wall hid me out of the way of the door.


I walked up to the door and knocked, civility first, hate later.

I pressed my self up against the wall.

I knocked once more, "Collin, i just want talk," for now, "open up the door." I was always stronger when someone i loved was in danger, Melissa was in the hospital and Jace was here, that explained why i was letting the shadows cover the house. I'd be completely dark in there soon, I heard the buzzing before I saw it, power was out in the house.

I glumped and leand my head back,"Just to talk..and only you!"I said.

"We need a place to meet, where you'll be guarded and i'll be guarded."


I could feel it coming from them, how strong they were, how powerful. *Collin, they are the two of the strongest i've ever felt. We'll die fighting.

I couldn't afford dieing,"Fine then leave us alone for now!"I called threw the door.

"You afraid i'm going to kill you or something? Which one of your partners are you dating?" i could tell by his voice. "Like i said, i'm not wanting to fight, i want to talk."

"I ain't telling you that!"I said,"fine talk,"I leand my head against the wal and closed my eyes I had a girlfriend and a little brother to live for.

"I want to know why you ran a girl over, for starters. Tell me that."

"Because she has to die...like everyone else...that's what he told us,"I said as I looked around,"he said kill you all before you kill us!"

"I know that. We don't have to fight, and the girl in that is on the stairs is overwhelmed at how powerful we are. You know what this is going to end like. Why don't you come back with us, you can bring our girl and i'll get you a two a room. That way, the other one isn't puking ever time you kiss."

I glumped,"He'll kill us..."I sqeezed my eyes shut,"He'll us all if we do."

I rolled my eyes, "Who will kill you? Collin, i get very protective of who i'm caring for, i don't take lightly to someone threatening to kill them, or who they love."

I glumped,"The guy .. he's powerful...more powerful than you guys...but he said if we put our powers together we can kill him,"I was shaking as I turned to the door,"if I open the door you swear you won't kill us?"

"If you do the same, i didn't come here with the intentions to hurt someone. And if i did and they were save able, then, to the hospital i'd take them. Okay, now open the door."

I opened the door slowly.

I looked at him, keeping Jace behind me, "Hey, i took good care of you guys when you were with me, didn't i?"

I grabbed his hand, trusting him. I held onto his hand tightly as i stood behind him.


"So, would you like to come back with us?" I asked him and the girl holding his hand like it was the last thing on earth.

I looked at them,"Yeah okay we'll come back..I'll say sorry... to Melissa too..."I looked at my shoes.

"She is in the hospital at the moment," i clicked a button on the keys and the bike transformed like one from the movie 'Transformers' into a car, "Pile in. Hey, don't feel bad, Collin, you were doing something that kept you and, who's this?" I asked softly

"My girl..Casy,"I said just as soft,I looked at Casy and pulled her to me.

I nodded, "Nice to meet you. I'm Deya, the one behind me is Jace, and the others are at home. Collin, you do remember what you left behind i hope, when you left,"


I shifted my feet, nervous, what was she, a mother? "So... she raised you?" i asked Collin.
