'I don't want to talk to you right now." I said without turning to look at him

"I can explain." i told her as i caught up to her and quickly stepped in front of her. "Just let me explain."

"What is there to explain? Your married." I said

"Yes and no." i told her, "Its more like on and off."

I laughed "There is no such thing as an on and off marriage Its just not there. And I had a right to know." I told him.

"Mine does," i said. "there is such a thing when a marriage is falling apart." i told her.

"Doesn't really look like it is falling apart to me." I said "What are you doing buying her a fair well dress?" I asked

"Getting her mind off things i don't want." i said truthfully.

"Like what?" I asked "You have a wife and your sucessful what could you not want that you don't already have?"

"Love." i told her. "I don't want to have children with someone i don't love."

I froze looking at him. "Well then why don't you divorce her?" I asked him. "Isn't that the sensible thing to do?"

"Its not that simple." i said as i shifted my weight.

"And why not?" I asked putting my hands on my hips waiting for and answer.

"Its just not." i said not wanting to get into a long detail.

I saw his wife come out of the dressing room. "Well then tell her." I said. "I will call you about the auction." I said and turned and left.

I clenched my jaw and watched as she left.

I smiled and walked over to Eric. "Okay are you ready?" i asked him. holding the dress he liked.

I rubbed the back of my neck and looked at her with a light smile. "Sure am."

I smiled and walked to the cashier with my dress and paid for it. "I will make reservations for 8. You go do what you usually do and I will be getting ready at home." I smiled

I nodded and kissed her on the cheek before making my way down the street.

I was heading towards another store. This was to much for me to take in right now.

I walked down the side walk hoping i would see Kay.

I stopped at the window of a store and stared at the dress in the window it was beautiful.

I finally caught sight of her and looked at what she was looking at. "You would be very beautiful in that." i said lightly as i walked up behind her.
