Ironic (1x1)

I clenched my jaw as i watched her walk off. I huffed and walked into the store.

I went into a store a couple of stores away and looked around.

I found the dress that looked to be her size and paid for it without a second thought. It was wrapped and put in a box.

I found a green dress. It was pretty but not like the other one.

I walked out of the store with a large box in my hand. I headed down the street and looked around for her.

I tried on the dress and looked at myself in the mirror. I wasn't really feeling it.

I decided to mail it to her instead, with a note. I headed to a mailing office. Luckily i remembered her address. It would be delivered right away.

I took the dress off and walked out I would just find a dress later I had to start working

I wrote a note about how i hoped she would let me explain over dinner some time and that i really did have a reason for doing this. I tucked it into an envelope, sealed it and attached it to the box.

I walked home and opened my door. I put the keys down and headed to the computer. Deciding to lose myself in my work.

I waited till i got a conformation call that the dress had been delivered straight to her house before walking back down the opposite street.

I heard a knock at the door. I went to get it and opened the door and there was a guy there with a box. "I didn't order anything." I said "THis is for you though you are Kay right?"
"Yes." i said
"Here. This is yours."
I took the bok and walked inside and opened it i froze when I saw that it was the dress. I read the note and looked down. I shouldn't go to dinner with him it wasn't right.
But I kinda wanted too.

I tried to think of where to take her tomorrow night. My wife would be at work and away. Perhaps i would take her to the restaurant on the outskirts of the town.

I tried on the dress.. it was perfect.

I walked down the streets with my hands in my pockets as i made my way back to the house.

I knew I had to give this back. It cost to much. I couldn't keep it.

I unlocked the front door with my key and walked into my house. Shutting the door behind me i made my way upstairs.

I took the dress off and called him

I walked into my own office and shut the door as i reached for my phone. "Hello?"

"Eric I can't take this dress."

"Yes you can." i said as i sat in a chair.

"no I really can't I don't have the money to pay you back for it."

"Theres no need." i told her. "Just go out to dinner with me tomorrow night so we can talk, thats all i ask."

"This is a very expensive dress." I said "I son't know about dinner what if you wife finds out>"

"I don't care." i told her lightly. "I just want to explain myself to you."
