I smiled "How is work going?"

At that mention i immediately thought of Kay. I nodded, "good." i said as i took another bite of steak.

"Anything new?"

I set down my fork, finishing my food and shaking my head. "Nope." i said gruffly. "Nothing new at all." i wiped my mouth. "How about you? How's work?"

"Boring. I am tired of the same thing."

I nodded. "You could always change." i said. "we can afford it."

"Yeah but its takes to long to find a job."

"With your experience you could get another in a heart beat." i said leaning back in the chair.

"I know biut I have been with this business sense the begining."

"Well start your own with what you've gotten there." i said again trying to take her mind off a baby. "You could even travel, like you wanted."

"Speaking oftraveling i was told that for my latest project i have to go to LA for a week."

I nodded. "when do you leave?"

"Tomorrow night,"

"Well regardless of the fact that its work, i'm sure you'll have a good time." i smiled lightly at her as i kept my excitement down.

I don't need to go if you don't want me to." I said a little nervous about leaving.

"No you should." i encouraged her. "You could learn a lot from it."

I nodded. "I'm just nervous."

I took her hand. "You have nothing to be nervous about."

"This is the first time I have been away from home."

"And you'll be fine." i promised her.

I smiled "Are you sure?"

I nodded. "Positive."

I smiled "THen I will go."

"Try not to miss me too much." i smiled at her placing my card on the bill.

I laughed "I always miss you"
