Ironic (1x1)

I walked around to the drivers side, got in and started the car.

I sat there a little awkward. I looked out the window.

I drove to the restaurant that our first date was at in silence. I wasn't entirely sure how this would turn out.

I smiled when we got there and I climber out of the car.

I walked next to her, wrapping my arm around her and opening the door with my free hand.

I smiled and held onto him. Its been to long sense I had been held by him.

I told the waiter it was only the two of us and gave him an early tip to get our seats quickly.

I smiled when we were seated by the window, It was fun looking at people walk by.

I handed her the menu. "Get whatever you'd like." i smiled at her.

I didn't really want alot only a salad and some desert.

I ordered some steak and a salad for an appetizer.

I smiled at him. "Thank you for taking me shopping today."

I nodded setting down the menu. "Anytime sweetheart."

I smiled "I love you." I said honestly

I gave her a soft smile. "And i love you." i said not knowing what else to say.

"So i was thinking we change the study to a nursery."

I almost choked on my iced tea when she said that. I looked at her, gaining my composure. "The study?" i said.

"Yeah you have your office we don't even ise it."

"I guess your right." i nodded.

"I smiled and it is big so he or she will have room to play."

I didn't want to break her heart and tell her i didn't want a child, i still cared for her. So instead i nodded and took a bite of salad.

I smiled this was going better than expected.

I chewed thoughtfully, not knowing what to do.

I took a bit of my salad and smiled at him.

I kept silent as i cut through my steak and ate.
