Ironic (1x1)

I shook my head and motioned for her to come over. I only wanted to talk to her.

I mouthed Your talking

"Excuse me." i said to the guy that was sitting next to me and got up to walk over to her. "No, i was listening to his long story about how he got the idea for his new line of mineral water." i said as i got over to her, i smiled.

I laughed "You are suppose to mingle with these people."

"Well why can't i mingle with you." i smiled at her.

I smiled "Because I have work todo." I flirted know i was going to give in to him anyway.

"Well then my job is to make sure you don't stress yourself and relax." i told her keeping my smile.

"I could get fired." I smiled.

"Well i wouldn't want you to get fired." i said. "How about a drink when this is all over?" i asked her.

I laughed "How about a drink at my place."

I smiled. "Sounds good."

I smiled "I'll meet you at the door when everything is cleaned up."

"I'll see you then, then." i smiled at her.

I smiled "Yeah." I said and walked off.

I turned and walked back to the bar and talked with the guys about business deals that were going on.

I started to cleean things up since the shindig was almost over.

I checked my phone and noticed i had phone calls from my wife. I deleted them and turned my phone back off.

After everything was cleaned up and the party was over I Was waiting by the door a little nervous thinking he wasn't going to show up. I hoped her did i declined my ride so that he could take me home.

I joined her at the door and straightened my jacket. "You ready?" i asked her with a smile.

I sighed with relief when he showed up. "Yeah." I said and headed outside.

I smiled following her. I told the guy which car was mine and waited for him to go get it. When he pulled it up i opened the door for her. "After you." i smiled.

I smiled "why thank you,"

I closed the door and jogged around the the drivers side, tipping the guy a very generous tip as i got in. "Which way to your place?" i asked looking at her as i buckled my seat belt.

I live just down the street here.

I nodded as i pulled out onto the street.
