Dragon (spoilers!)

Hey guys. Well if you haven't read Awakened then get your butt outta here unless you like spoilers.





So, in Awakened, when Dragon was asked by Nyx if basically he would see past what Rephaim was and realize what he had become and be strong and merciful, he didn't answer her. Then he did not accept Rephaim's offer to a Life Debt of servitude to him....... Is anyone else thinking Dragon is going to turn to Darkness? Your thoughts and comments will be appreciated!

i think so because he basicly told Nyx no at forgiving Rephaim after Nyx told him that Anastasia was ok and not in pain basicly, so i think he wont be able to accept Rephaim, which is to bad cuz he would be a good person to have on the good side.

Yes, he is exhibiting some idiot like behavoir. Basically he's going against his Goddess which can't be good, and Zoey even told him it felt like he was choosing Darkness over Light when he denied Rephaim.

But in his defense I think I understand where he's coming from. Stark only was Zoey's warrior for what, a week? You saw how bad he was when Zoey was shattered. Anastasia is DEAD. And Dragon was her warrior for a century. Had it been the other way around and Dragon killed Stevie Rae I don't think Rephaim would have let Dragon have a chance to offer a life debt. He would've ripped his head off the moment he knelt infront of him.

Anyways, I am forever and always on Rephaim's side but I can see where Dragon is coming from, though I hope he can find the Light again.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's the right way to go, but I do understand why he would turn though.
And Dragon's not thinking clearly. He still sees Rephaim as a part of Darkness, so by not accepting him he believes he is rejecting Darkness even though the Goddess forgave Rephaim infront of him. And man, lets be honest, you see the thing (not that Rephaim is a thing, because he isn't!) that killed the love of your life be given the privlige to be human and be with the one they love, I don't know, I might flip out and go psycho too.

Yeah i can see Dragon's point he lost his love, and it causes him pain, but nyx said Anastasia forgave rephaim from the otherworld, and so did Zoey but he basicly saying so what and turning to the darkness which killed his mate, and turning away from his goddess, hopefully he comes to his senses and go back to his goddess and fight for the good.

Yeah, but I'd be irrational if everyone was telling me to forgive the person who killed the one I love. And that all happened in the course of like 15 minutes. Can you imagine the confusion and emotions Dragon must have been feeling???
Anyways, yeah I hope he comes to his senses too, because if he tries to kill my Rephaim he'll have to go

yea i understand why he hates Rephaim too.
but he needs to find peace in himself and trust Nyx.
she did say the his mate was happy and alright and that she forgave Rephaim for what he had done in the past.
but i dont think Dragon would turn to Darkness, its just that he doesnt trust Rephaim or he hasnt found peace yet.

but he will turn to darkness if Neferret contorls him with her sticky black threads (eww)

I believe he might be drawn towards Darkness, but pulled back to Light once he sees how good Rephaim has become.....At least hopefully he does.
And yes, Neferet is just ewwy.

No, Dragon would never change teams. He's too good to change to Darkness.
Of course Dragon is gonna say no to Forgiving Rephaim, he killed his Mate.
He won't say 'its okay' so soon, i don't think he will ever forgive him.

Emokitty i understand what you think and i partially agree with you
but as you said, he killed his mate! and killing someone you really love and care about might change you and fill your heart with hatred pain and grief and i think he believes Neferet and she might convince him to avenge himself! and that might turn him from Nyx's path and make him join darkness

i can partly understand Dragon. As said before, it must be painful for him to even think about forgiving the killer of his mate. but i really thought he was able to see how bad Neferet is. I am sad about that he seems not to be. I hope that Rephaim would do something which convinces Dragon to trust and maybe even forgive Rephaim - but if he should try to kill Rephaim i am gonna kill him!!!

hahaha! its been a long time since i've argued with you:P:P but i remember that you always won by convincing me:) i don't think he will kill rephaim but i still doubt that his heart is as gentle and sweet as it was before and that might cause problems

I am of the opinion that he will turn to darkness. Even before he found out that sr and r were together he was turning to the dark side.

Dragon is one of my fave professors at HoN, so I hope he won't go over to the Dark Side. I'd think Anastasia wouldn't have wanted him to do that. I do understand there's no way he can forgive Rephaim (hell, I couldn't if my long-time boy/girlfriend was killed by someone) but imo Dragon should try to move on. I know he and Anastasia will meet again.

we all don't want him to turn dark but i have a strong feeling that he will but let's hope not!

A goddess - his goddess in fact - just materialised in front of his face and granted forgiveness to Rephaim among other things. If Dragon was ever going to have a change of heart that time may have just passed. But then again, I can... appreciate that it's not that simple for him to let go. I wonder myself if I'd be any different.
