"This pack has betrayed me so many times. Why the hell would I choose this pack over someone as pure and beautiful as Ebony? Lilli, I love you. I can't break my imprint because it's all I have. Even my own sister betrayed me." Maxxie frowned in realisation and pulled his knees up to his chest.

"I am not tainted, if you choose me you can be back on the alpha team you'll only be Beta Male but when Matt has pups he has to retire as Alpha then we can be Alpha's"

"This pack is tainted, Lilli. A pack is meant to look after eachother, love eachother... not do this eachother." He gestured at the hole in his side. "This isn't a pack, this is a war."

Maxxie stands up and shouts. "Then I quit! I'm leaving this forsaken pack and I'm never coming back." He phases into a wolf and runs away.

He shuts off his telepathic link to the pack and severes it. He never wanted to hear from them again, not even his sister.

I never heard what he said but I knew he would be the death of us all I went to Matt to tell him everything

Maxxie runs straight to Ebony. He phases into human form and knocks on her door. He never wanted to be the wolf again.

Maxxie clutched onto his wound, which had started to bleed again from the running.

I opened the door and smiled when I saw Maxxie "Hey!" I smiled and I noticed he was bleeding "What happened? who did this to you? Come in, I´ll clean it" I said leading him in, taking his hand

Tears fell down Maxxie's face as soon as he saw Ebony. "I was in a fight with another wolf... It's fine. Don't worry about that." He stumbled into the kitche and grabbed some kitchen roll. He pressed it against the bleeding wound. "I just need you, Ebony." He whimpered.

I hugged him tightly, it was heartbreaking seeing him like that , I rubbed his back sweetly "It´s okay, I´m here"

Lexie kept conversation with Matt and running her fingers thru his hair, but she felt loss of her brother and started to cry.

Maxxie looked at the hole in his side and grabbed a lump of kitchen paper and stuffed it inside to prevent infection. He hissed in pain as he done so.

I started packing, taking the first I found , I grabbed a clean cloth to wrap it around Maxxie´s wound

Yes puppy, whatchya needing? I asked Lexie. I watched Maxxie leave and I called for him in my mind but it only echoed as if he shut us all down. I looked over at Lilli, baring my teeth her. Why are you being so stubborn? He was trying to fix everything and all you did was drive him away. So now, because of you, none of us can see him. Wouldn't you rather be able to See him for just a moment then never see him at all? He loves you, Lilli. Just not the way you want. And no one ever gets things the way they want. Your just going to have to get over yourself and start thinking of others. Quit being such a self absorbed bit*h. I said coldly in her mind
