Katherine smiled. "I always do." She said, looking at him from across the table. "So, where were you born?" She asked, interested in his background.

"Born, born, or created born." he asked with a gentle smile. "I was originally born in Italy, but i was changed in Texas." he said as he looked back on his life, he did a lot of traveling even when he wasn't a vamp.

She smiled, and raised an eyebrow. "Italy, huh? I traveled there alot when I was first changed. I was born in Bulgaria, I was the first victim of the family of founding vampires. That's why I'm still called the first. That's why I hide the name Katerina Petrova" She went far back in her lifetime, saying her real name with a smirk on her face, the name even scared her sometimes. Because of it's bloodthirsty and blood-angered history.

He rose an eyebrow and nodded with approval. "Very impressive." he grinned, taking a sip of his wine. "It is an honor to be in the presence of one of the first." he bowed his head slightly.

She smiled at his manners. "And it's very nice to meet someone else in this lonely town, Alex"

"Well i hope to not make it as lonely." he said with a nod.

She chuckled. "Don't worry. It's never not fum around here." she said.

"Well then i'm excited to see for myself." he said with a cocky grin, sipping at the wine.

Katherine smiled to herself and stood up, walking to the chair he was sitting in and leaning on the back of it, she smiled at him. A dazzling, cocky smile.

He looked up at her with a smile. He set the glass down on the table. "So what now?" he asked with a grin.

She shrugged. "It's only..." She looked over at her clock "Six, there's not much to do, most of the humans are sleeping" She said, sighing.

Alex nodded. "Well what do you usually do?" he asked with a slight grin. He was curious.

Katherine smiled. "Well, There are clubs open twenty-four hours in the city, I usually go there, but if I just feel like relaxing I stay home" She said.

Alex nodded his head. "Well what's the plan for tonight." he said with a small hint of a sexy grin.

Katherine smiled devilishly. "We could get to know each other. Alot more" She said, looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

Alex nodded. "I would very much like to get to know you more." he said matching her grin.

"Hmmm, well, in what way would you like to discover this?" She asked him, slightly closer to his face, she kept her grin.

He looked at her with a grin. "In whatever way is possible." he said back. It had been a long time since he had been in the company of another vampire, he like it.

Katherine smiled and leaned, just a tad bit closer. "I think we can manage that." she said.

Alex smiled at her. "Your very beautiful you know." he noted with a grin.

She grinned devilishly. "And you, my dear; are very attractive, and appealing." she said.

Alex smirked. "As are you." he said flashing his fangs.

She flashed her fangs back at him, "You know, I've never actually tried, vampire blood" She said.

"Either have i," Alex said in a gruff, sexy tone. He got the hint of where she was leading at. "Perhaps not in the dining room."

She smiled and quietly laughed to herself. "I agree with you" She said, walking down the hall and up the stairs.
