"How you know it's from the underworld?"I asked her.

"That wolf that was in our house last night .... it had this dark mist coming off of it,"I said as I took Bryna's hand again,"anyways we should get movig."

I rushed up to Winter and Bryan, and some other kid

"RUn." I siad as I rushed by.

"Follow him,"I said to Jamie as I started to run.

I ran beside her.

I held Winter's hand and started to run after Owen.

I let them run by, but stopped Bryan

"We need to keep them away from them>" I said

"And the real thing is the best practice there is."

I nodded. "okay. and you have a ponit there." i said.

I walked with Jamie,"Slow your pace abit Jamie,"I said softly,grabbing his shirt.

"Sorry habbit,"I said.

I looked at him

"Just concentrate, pretend all the shadows are convergin onyou, now mould them, like clay,a dn throw." I chucked a ball of darkness, knocking back one of the creatures.

I fousced and put the shadows into one and then threw them at the creatures. That was pretty good for my first try. I thought.

I saw something move and then next thing I knew before I do anything I was thrwn against the wall,my head smashing against it pretty good,I groaned.

"Winter?!"I yelled as I set the creature on fire.

I nodded to him

"Good." I heard Winter scream, I looked back

"Go help her, Ill hold them off as best as I can."

I ran to go help Winter. I helped Jamie fight off the creatures with the shadows.

I looked, one was about to get Winter, I knew I had to save her, I rushed over and jumped in front of her, and felt the col steel-like claw slice through me, and I knew, I was going to die.

I threw the shadows at the one that was about to attack Owen. From how it looked... I hoped Owen would be okay.

Stand up! Stand up! My mind screamed,I grabbed a hold of Jamie's shirt and stood up,"Heal him ,"I said,my head was pounding and blood ran down the back off my neck,but I had to fight.

I went by boy's side,"You okay?"I asked him.

THe last thing I heard was someone say are you okay,a dn then i was gone....

I woke up and looekd around, I was surrounded by white

"Where am I..." I wondered

"You are om heaven." A voice boomed

"But... i was a fallen angel, how am I allowed here.

"Owen, what youv'e done was the most selfless act possible, yousacrificed yourslef to save another, adn thus... you are granted your true angel wings." I felt myself start floating upwards, there was a flash of light,a dn my wings changed, from the pitch lack of coal, to a bright white

"Now, return, your time on earth is not done yet." I felt myself falilng, adn then I was back.

"Winter stop. I have this." She was already bleeding. I didn't want to lose her too. I fought the lst of those creatures.

I stood over Owen's body and protected him,he was breathing again... wtf?How is that even possible... and his wings.... they were... white...


I leand against the wall as I shot another ice ball at one that was going for Jamie.

I looked back at the creatures.

I stood up and pushed the others asde. I closed my eyes, I felt all the light rushing in towards me, it was like nigth all around us, and a large ball of light formed in front of me

"Die you evil things." I threw it at them, it flew into the center and blew, I wached as the black bodies crumbled adn turned into ashes

I slide down as my eyes fluttered shut,my head hurt like he!! and I was losing to much blood.

"Winter open your eyes,"I said as I crouched infront her,"Winter open 'em now."

I rushed the Winter's side. "Winter open your eyes." i said.

I walked over

"Let me try something." I put my hand on her forehead, I let all the ligth I could obtain flow into her

I really hoped she would be okay. I finally admited what i've been hiding for years I just can't lose her now.
