Phantasma {RP Version} {Hex and Wulf Only}

*This is based on a story that I wrote, its called Phantasma. I'm still working on it so therefore it is technically not a book, yet. I claim copy rights so NO stealing.*

When the summer begins, Emily expects it to be like every other summer: Going out on the lake, sitting around the fire with a bunch of friends; everything normal. But everything normal isn't what the new kid is about. David was the boy that every girl in the Everleaf community wanted, but could never even come close to having. But when David falls in love with human Emily, this complicates her summer more than she could ever have imagined. David has a secret that he can tell no one. Their forbidden romance is just the way it sounds. Forbidden.
When you aren't meant to be, how far will you go to belong?

Bio.:: Emily is the average teenager that parents want to have. She doesn't get in trouble and her normal thing is to hang out with Chase. But then, Chase isn't the only guy in her life once David shows up. David begins to win Emily's heart when she least expects it. Even though he has a secret, Emily is determined to find out.
Appearance:: Waist length auburn hair, pasty white complexion, green eyes.

Name:: Kassidy Thompson
Age:: 17
Bio.:: Kassidy is the sexy one compared to her twin, Emily. She is the complete opposite of her and she has always been fighting for Chase's attention, but she never really gets it. She finds the new boy strange, but she doesn't think anything of it.
Appearance:: Blonde and tan.

Name:: Chase Ransom
Age:: 18
Bio.:: Chase is the ladies man in the story-- except when David arrives. He always has a girlfriend, but his main lady is Emily. She's nothing more than a sister to him, but he'll do anything for her. When David comes into her life, he doesn't like it at all. He thinks something is off about the guy, but what can he say to Emily?
Appearance:: Blonde, tan, blue eyes. Punk rocker.

Name:: David Rodriguez

Bio.:: David knows he doesn't belong in this world, but he is here anyway. He is left here to watch the people live their lives and die as they are meant to. He has no emotions---hell he doesn't even have a reflection. But when young mortal, Emily Thompson shows compassion that he hasn't seen in a long time, he begins to feel something in his hollow chest. It is completely wrong and it will NEVER work, unless....but this can't keep him away.

The day was normal, Emily woke up feeling relaxed; she was almost finished with her summer homework. Sunlight was coming in through the blinds, casting golden rays across her eyes. Emily pushed the woven quilt off her legs and jumped out of bed.
Still under the presence of sleep, she made her way down the hall to the white-and-gold-tiled bathroom. Emily straightened her slouched posture and regarded her tousled reflection.
"You look like a hot mess, girl," she whispered to it, and gave a conspiratorial wink. She leaned forward seeing her amber eyes narrow. There were still traces of heavy eyeliner in her lashes; spreading across her face making her look like a raccoon if she was being completely honest ---which she was. Emily stuck her tongue out and turned away with great expectations, without bothering to brush out the wild auburn layers that framed her face.
She maintained those expectations until she got to the kitchen, where Kassidy, her twin sister was eating Cheerios. Then she narrowed her eyes again, this time at her. It was bad enough being small, slight, and ivory skinned---to look in fact, as much like a ghost as anything she had ever seen hanging around a haunted house---but to have a twin who was tall, bleach-blond and naturally sexy…well that just showed how unbalanced the universe was, didn't it?
"Morning Kassidy," she said in a sneering voice.


Kassidy, who was used to her sister's moods, was unbothered. She lifted her gaze from the quiz section of Cosmopolitan for a moment. Emily had to admit she had nice eyes: deep navy eyes with very dark lashes. The twins had nothing in common.
"Morning," Kassidy said blankly, and went back to the intimacy quizzes. Not many kids Emily knew would take the results of the quiz seriously, but that was all Kassidy. Like Emily, Kassidy had been a junior at Ever Leaf High, last year, and unlike Emily, she's made straight A's while starring on the cheer leading squad, the Mock Trial team, and the Key Club. Also serving as co-editor for the school's yearbook. One of Emily's greatest joys in life was teasing her. She thought she was too competitive.

She sighed and gave up the menacing look. "Where's Jack and Mom?" Jackson Mattheson was their stepfather of three years and even more competitive than Kassidy.

"Jack's at work and Mom is getting dressed. You'd better eat something or she'll have a cow."

"Whatever…" Emily went on tiptoe to the dining room. Finding a bowl of fruit, she picked up and apple and put it to her lips. She ate it within minutes.
It wasn't always a bad thing being short. She did a few dance steps to the refrigerator, tossing the apple core in the trash.
"No one can hear me scream!" she sang, hyper from the quiet.

"Yes, I can," Kassidy said with a hint of annoyance. "And why don't you put some clothes on?"

Holding the refrigerator door open, Emily looked down at herself. She was wearing the black teddy she'd slept in. It covered her where it counted. "This is clothes," she said serenely, taking a Cherry Coke from the fridge.
There was a knock at the kitchen door. Emily saw who it was through the small window.

"Hi, Chase! C'mon in."

{I forgot that little bit, sorry V lol}

Looking at him, Emily felt a wave---of curiosity. It didn't matter that she only saw him when he had news of some sort. She still felt a wave overcome her, somewhere between relief and familiarity, when first confronted with him on his visits.
It wasn't just his good looks, which always reminded her vaguely of Christofer Drew. He had shaggy dark brown hair, a subtle, intelligent face, and gray eyes that could only be described as intense. He was the coolest boy at Ever Leaf High, but to her he was just Chase.

Kassidy felt differently. As soon as Chase came in, she tossed her magazine to the side and gave her hair a quick flip. Infatuation flashed on her face.

"Hey," Kassidy stuttered, not relaxing in the least.

Emily had the strong sense that she'd like to push her out of the room and lock the door. Kassidy always overdid the flirtatious sister bit when Chase came over. "So what's up?" she added quickly.

"Really? What's he like?"

Emily brightened. "More vampire stories to add to the collection---I can't wait. Let me see." But just then her mother walked in. Emily's mother was sharp, blond, and serious, like an army wife. She normally wore an expression of calm servitude.
"Sorry---morning!"
"Get back here," Emily's mother said, getting hold of the book in her daughter's hands. "Good morning, Kassidy; good morning, Chase," she added. Kassidy said good morning and Chase nodded, quiet and polite.
"Has everybody had breakfast?" Emily's mother asked; always happy to cook. When the twins said they had, she looked at Chase. "What about you, Chase?" she asked, gazing into his face.

"Why don't you have an omelet?" She was already taking down a mixing bowl.

"What are you planning to do today?" her mother said, glancing between Chase and Emily.
"Oh, I don't know." Emily looked at Chase. He didn't come over as much as he used to. "Read; maybe go to the lake?"

The week of summer stretched out in front of Emily, hot and golden and replenishing. It smelled like pool chlorine and smoky bon fires, it felt like the coolness of night on her skin. A week was enough, she thought.

A week was short. During the week I had barely finished my homework which I had put off until the last minute. School started tomorrow and I would finally get to see the mystery boy that I heard so much about in the last seven days. Chase had gotten back last night, but he was probably too tired to text me back.
"Kassidy!" I yelled, banging my fist against the wall so she would hear me over her cheers. She was going out for captain again this year so she was practicing nonstop and if I had to listen to the rustling of her pom poms any more tonight I was going to literally ream her with a pillow until she had blood coming out of her ears.

"What?" I opened Emily's door, only to find her standing in a pile of mess. "What are you doing? I just washed all of those clothes for school and you threw them on the floor."

"Did you take my black kitten heels?" They really were missing and they were the only things that would go with my outfit for tomorrow. Normally I didn't care what I wore to shcool, but this was the first day of our senior year so I might as well have put some effort into it.

"Why would I take those? They look like they're a hundred years old."

This was true, that was why I liked them. They were designed to look like they came from a different century.
"I can't find them...that's all." I muttered.

I snorted and turned to the doorway. "Who could find anything in this mess."

I chucked a pillow at her just as she ducked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

Ever Leaf was like everything else in the town: just off the highway.
Kassidy and I were always the first few ones there because we always had something to do. We drove separately, for several reasons. Probably because she was embarrassed to be seen with me and partially because she always had friends to ride with her.
I shook the thought out of my head and took my assigned parking spot which was at the back, just where I liked it.
I looked around and smiled as I saw Chase. He was leaning against his black Harley, waiting for me. I frowned however when I saw the swarm of girls around him. This was an every day thing for him, but it never got old to me. It always made me mad. He was my friend, not theirs. They just wanted to see his new scars and even more so developed muscles.
I growled and grabbed my black leather bag, that I used to carry book and climbed out of my car. I had no need to lock it, no one would dare touch my car without my permission...which I seldom gave out.
"Chase!" I called, waving, using a hint of annoyance in my voice. A few of the girls backed off or smiled shyly at my approach. Even if I wasn't Kassidy or Chase, I was my own legend. Everyone knew my because I had my own style. Steampunk. It was very popular in the art and cosplaying world, and I was bringing a hint of it into my world.
"Emily." he acknowledged, grinning slightly.
Something was up. Chase was usually happier to see me, especially after a week apart. I frowned a little and sighed. I would talk to him later.
"There he is!" a few girls hurridly whispered.
"There who is?" I asked as I inched closer to Chase.
"The new guy," he muttered. I sensed a little anger, but I ignored it as I turned, just in time to get bumped into.
"I'm sorry." A male voice whispered. He must be shy.
"That's al--" I paused. It was him.
He grabbed my books and had them in a stack before I could even blink. He was already on his feet, handing them out to me. I took them hesitantly and smiled. But he was already walking away.
I couldn't put my finger on it, but he was familiar somehow. Very strange as well. He had made sure he didn't touch me.

"I'm fine." I shook Chase off of me and looked at him. "What the hell is going on with you? You ignore me one minute and then you're all over me for inspection. I can take care of myself."
