| If I could I wouldn't feel at all,
If I could I wouldn't fall,
I fall everytime you look at me,
Everytime you just let me bleed,
I would erase time,
I would have no body, no soul, or mind,
I'd drain myself of it all,
Knock down the damaged wall,
I wouldn't let nothing stay,
push it all away,
I would refuse to feel,
I don't want this to be real,
Go AWAY!!!!
I don't need you to stay,
Your going to leave anyway,
When you do set me free,
not locked up without a key,
I didn't make this deal,
you steal my heart,
This can't be real,
You walk away,
When GOODBYE was all you had to say..... | |

I am lonely,
I am lost;
What am I doing here?
This dark, empty abyss
Freezing winds numb my senses
My footsteps produce no echo
Yet, a tender voice is ringing
All throughout my eardrums.
These words…
What are they?
They attempt to pull me out
Allowing a sliver of light;
Hoping to help me see once more.
Except, I somehow…
I keep on walking;
I am up to my knees,
Wandering and wading through
This awfully deep crimson water.
My head stays down with long,
Unkempt hair hiding my pale face
I cannot feel any more;
Not without him by my side.
I refuse to breathe,
Acknowledging that I will
Hopefully embrace him soon,
The simple sight of him would
Rapidly bring me to
Tears at once.
So I continue to rust;
Slowly allowing myself to
Begin withering to dust.

| Sometimes I think its the little things.
Like the way your mothers hands feel when your sick,
Or the way your father tells a story.
The little things of relationships.
Like a goodnight kiss.
Or talking all night, barely touching at all.
The little things of songs.
When the music gets quiet,
Or loud, and you loose your breath.
The little things that make you you.
Your smile, laugh
How you get excited over things that may not matter
The little things of nature.
A warm sunset,
A cold snowfall as the moon glistens off the blanket of snow
I think its all those little things, added up to make a big thing
Added up to make up your mind
To make life what it is, to make it worth living for
Or not living for at all. | |
