Every year, 6, 13 year old kids are chosen to go into an arena, and noone comes out until all are dead, except for one, one year, 2 kids escape, and the Country chases them down, never sleeping, never giving up. The children desperately try to escape, but they know it can only be so long before they are caught.

Bio: Owen was born to a very poor family. When he is chosen to go to the arena, he panics, but, he is determined to win, but when he meets Maya, he can't kill her, and he know's she won't kill him. So together they escape, but to what kind of world...

Bio: Terry grew up next door to Owen, when he is snet to the arena, she makes sure she doesn't miss a moment of the fight, even making her parents buy tickets to go see the match live, she is more than willing to help when Owen and Maya escape

(Ok, we start)

I walked into the arena silently, a barred gate blocked me from entering the arena. Behind me, the door closed adn locked with a faint click. I looked at the camera that was wathcing me from above.

"Mom, dad, if you're watching, I'll try to come home. Terry, if I make it back, we'll go on that dumb hiking trip, just like you always wanted, and if I don't make it home, just remember me guys."

"You'll make it back," Terry mumbled to herself. She had been annoying him for years to go on that trip and wanted to make sure he made it out alive to go on it, even if she ahd to help him out.

"What was that honney? her father asked her.

"It was nothing," shie said and turned her attenton back to the screen

I sighed as the gates started to lower

"This is for you guys." I smield weakly at the amera. I turned, the gate was only halfway down, but I jumped over it, I rushed to the center and grabbed my weapons and supplies before the other's gates were even open. I rushed towards the woods. I managed to get to the forest when the otherws were grabbing there weapons. I ran as fast as I could, when I thought I was far enough in, I climbed a tree and hid, I pulled out the small camera each contestant had

"Well, so far so good." I jumped as a gun shot rang through the air, adn an announcment cmae on

"The first contestant has been eliminated. Only 5 remain"

"Well, looks like my chances just got better." I put the camera away and started climbing through the trees

I got out doors to the arena, i smiled and waved to everyone

I looked down at the ground, a boy was walking by me. I raised the bow and arrow I was holding, aimed straight at him, and fired. It swung by his head, close enough that he could feel the breeze. He looked up at me

"Ha, got you." He chucked a knife at me, it embedded into the tree. I climbed up higher, when I reached the top of the tree, I realized, there was a walkway, really, 3 pieces of rope, 2 on the sides and one in the enter, but a walkway all the same. Clumsily I walked along the top's of the tree, a camera followed behind me.

I just started to walk around like it wasnt a big deal
