"Yeah." I laughed nervously.
I have never talked to boys in school either, well actually i never talked to anyone. Not even the teachers talked to me but i hadnt cared.
"He may..He is not ready to see Meggie yet."

I fell silent not talking anymore. I did that a lot just stop talking.
I nodded and listened to Meggie talk then looked up at the sky.

I looked at Meggie and Raven in sadness.
No one ever knew what happened to my family because i never ever told anyone, I was to scared to.

i sighed. it had been a year and a hlaf since i had last seen him.

I didn't like to see my friends sad.
I still didnt talk, because i didnt know what to say. I closed my eyes and sighed as quiet as i could.

Since I wasnt watching where i was going and i was falling down from the high roofs of the House of Night.

As i was falling i realized...i was...FLOATING!!!
I looked down and realized i wasnt floating...my feet were glowing white 'Oh yeah...My affinity..' i thought as i lightly landed on the ground.
