House of Night -- New York City

I looked up and saw a cloud in the shape of a star.
'Wow...' I thought as i started to walk..then i bumped into Meggie.
"Oh im so sorry!"

"its ok star." i made a clous in the shape of castle.

Look at sky
"You are doing that?" I asked tilting my head.

"yes."

I looked in amazment
"Oh may i ask what your affinity is?"

"i can hear thoughts and move things with my mind."

'Should i tell them?' i thought
"Awesome!" I said smiling

i nodded. "cool."

((Ok so whats happened?))

"i have an affinity for Light and Darkness..."
I said trying to smile.

(Nothing really Meggie's brother is now a fledging and we are all talking about out affinities..)

((Ok so where are you guys, so i can jump in))

"I guess"
I said looking away.
having these affinities had there bad sides though.


(By a tree near the dorms..)

"Wow that really cool Raven"
I said smiling.
I looked at the moon
'Only 3 more days till the full moon' i thought to myself and sighed.

I looked at Raven and nodded.
I was happy it wasnt going to be a New moon any time soon so i just smiled.

I got back to my dorm and started playing the guitar. I was calming.

I left my dorm and went for a walk. I passed Jesse's room and heared the guitar Does he have anything better to do then play his guitar? i shrugged at that thought. I went outside and found a few people by a tree.

I looked at a girl pass us.
trying to be brave i spoke up
"Um..Hello."
as i stopped talking i heard a guitar and closed my eyes listening to the soothing sounds.

i just made the clouds into different shapes.
