A mess of thoughts came rushing into my head. They were of voices different from what I've heard in our group. These thoughts were tangled and incomplete, i knew it was because of distance. It felt like a few kilometres away, probably ten. I raised my watch to my eyes and saw --- bearing south west. It's coming from the school.
'We can't save everyone.' I threw in as an afterthought.
