damn it! Why did I suck around girls. Skylar was pretty, too pretty to be with me. Even the earthen's would be suspisious.
I felt like apologising to her. I was being a jerk.
I did what she suggested, I held the bird over the flames.
"Sorry." I mumbled. I haven't been that good with company in years. Nobody has really talked to me because I was a Lone wolf.

I got up and started to walk towards a row of trees to look for some dry branches.
I had to get away for a bit. Seemed like I wasn't really used to company anymore being on the road alone for the last years. I wasn't the typical girl, I knew that, a female loner even less common.
In the pack I was tailed all the time so I couldn't be that bad...well they were jerks anyway..and other loners...no question hormone driven jerks AND brainless. But truth be told..he is right...I was never much of a lover... Geez...'stop fretting Skylar and get some wood you are staving which makes you think too much.'
I went back an chucked some of the wood into the embers with a bit too much enthusiasm, a piece of it hitting my hand...oh great..what else.

I changed my mind to see my father, he was probrably not in a good mood since he probrably hadnt eaten yet, i'll go talk to him after that. So i made my way to were everyone was was helping out to make breakfast. I smiled at some of them and started helping them out by cutting out some vegetables.

Marat saw Feisha approaching the table and was excited to see her again. She looked beautiful as always. He approached her slowly. "Hey." He said smiling. "Was my mother helpful?" He was a bit shy to look at her in the eyes so he played with some carrot.

Zhane watched Marat as he approached Feisha. The love birds again Zhane rolled his eyes and let a big sigh. He went back to helping some poor girl and flirting in the process. He was starving though.

I turned and looked at him. It seemed like a long time since she'd last seen him. "Hey yourself" she said smiling brightly. "She was more than helpful, im so glad we talked" I finished what i was doing and motioned for him to follow.

I looked up just as an ember flew it's way onto Sky. "Hey, you ok!?" I jumped to my feet to see if she was alright. I hadn't let go of the Pheasent though.

I swore silently "yea I'm fine just clumsy" it stung but I had worse wounds.
"Really it's ok..." I sat down and looked through my backpack for something to dress the wound.

I never thought I'd ever be so startled. One minute everything was weird, and the next Skylar gets burned. Literally. I had always been a bit jumpy over the past few years but I guess I wasn't paying attention this time. "Sky, are you sure?" I asked, after recovering from the initial shock.

Survived worse" i smiled at them. I wore the collar for a reason...nice accessory but great to cover up too.

i reluctantly went back to cooking breakfast. Once the feathers were burnt off, I started to slice it.
Aftyer I preped it I stuck the meat onto two parallel sticks that I had carefully placed over the fire.

I walked over to Skylar and sat down. "So, what do you think?" I asked, picking at my sleeve. It was still covered in salt.

hm...what did I think really...good question. "I think it is nice to have company for a change..like nice company. Don't know about you but what I met the last years is not even worth mentioning." I made a face thinking about the last retarded wolf I met....all he could talk about was how it was the best way to steal from humans. What a looser really.
"And I think you should relax a little for a change." I ruffled his hair, more salt falling down.
"And get a good bath I guess" I laughed.

I couldn't help but over hear the last part. "bath? Theres a waterfall pool thata ways." I pointed in the direction of where I knew the pool was where some other wolves usually washed. They would have had their washes by now, So it would be all clear for Ethem if he wanted to go there.

"huh!?" I looked at Hybris while taking one of the sticks offering half of it to Ethem first.
"You sure about that?!" I liked his laugh but pushed that aside. I wasn't sure if I was really that good with the whole lover thing but no way I would tell them that. "Well..we could give it a try. It would make more sense than you telling them you are a loner.but all of a sudden you have a brother and cousin. Maybe it would even make more sense to make Ethem my brother. What do you say?"

I looked to they boy, then back to Sky. "Hmm.." I said rubbing my chin. "It could work." I couldn't see any noticable simerlarities...But what about scaring? They could act as birthmarks. "Got any scars that look the same?" I asked the two While picking up my share of the bird.
