| Prologue
I walked down the hall, afraid of what I might see, what I might hear, and even what I might feel. I regretted tell anyone – especially Nick. I didn’t want to be here – I wanted to be anywhere but here. The whispers floated to my ears, but I was unwilling to hear. The pointing of fingers came my way, but I was unwilling to see them. The feeling of being butted in the shoulder came, I couldn’t ignore it.
One day of one month ruined my life. All I want now is for it to be the same, and to have one friend be there – just one.
