"Other than the pain." I said. I was curious so I had to ask, "Why didn't you help me? I mean once it was obvious I couldn't defend myself against the ugly thing."

"I'm sorry about that"

"I'm not mad, I just want to understand why." I said.

"I was a demon version of drunk..."

I looked at him. "So you weren't able to think then. Huh, glad you got some sense beaten into between then and now. Or i'd be leaving you." I said.

"Yeah it hurt too"

"Oh I hope it did. For awhile I was very, very angry about that. You were always so protective and then you just stand there and watch me get mauled. Not a memory I like, but I got over it because I knew you had a rather odd behavior before that too." I said.

"It'll never happen again. I swear on it."

"Well I'm counting on you to keep that promise. I'm going to really need you to be there for your kids." I saaid. He already knew this, but I still had to remind him.

"I love my kids of course I'll take care of them"

"Good." I smiled at him. The twins started to fight.

"Hey you two" I tap both of their head, "Fighting is a no-no"

They looked at him with sad looks knowing they were in trouble but trying to get out of it. I wasn't helping him though I just looked to see if he'd cave.

"Nope not falling for that little ones but if you behave maybe I'll buy you something"

They kept up with tears in their eyes now. "They're pretty good. It goes really far." I said. "Stop guys. You're not being very goood." I said and they looked at me thenn at the sidewalk in front of them.

"I want to see my babies smile" I tickle under their chins

They fought laughing but couldn't help it. I smiled at them.

"Good little ones" I kiss the top of both their heads

"We love you daddy." They said. It was cute.

"I love you too my two little demons"

They giggled as we went past a park. My legs were tired so I sat down on a bench.

"Desire? You ok?"

"Just a little tired Sebastian. The other babies are draining me a bit." I said.

"Take a nap"

"I will when we get home. The twins want to be out for a bit." I said as I took them out of the stroller.
