"What's wrong love?"

I wasn't even sure what to tell him. I didn't hurt, or feel anything until the sudden kick. I sighed and just settled with what I knew. "I don't know," I said.

I look at the twins, "Does mommy's belly need kisses?"

"Yeah." They came over to me and I smiled at them.

I smile at her

I smiled back at him shakily. It felt hard to smile for some reason.

"I'm calling the doctor"

I nodded at him.

I secretly call the doctor

I lay there with the twins trying to make me feel better.

"She should be here any time now"

"Alright." I said.

I take her hand, "You'll be ok I swear"

"I know, you won't let anything happen to me." I smiled. "Or to the babies." I meant that as all of our kids.

"Of course not you guys are my life now"

"I know." The twins sat beside me playing with each other.

I kiss her quickly

I smiled at him.

"That was so the twins can't see"

"I understand Sebastian." I said. I closed my eyes as a wave of pain came unexpectedly.

I squeeze her hand as she winces

We sit in silence for a few minutes until the doctor arrived. The twins moved out of the way and because I was on the couch, she asked Sebastian to move so she could have room to work with me.

I move and take the kids out of the room, they didn't need to see this

She doesn't say anything, other than when I had to do something. She seemed really concerned about something but I couldn't ask because that's when they started to actually come and I screamed. I did for an hour until it was over.

I come back, "Desire? The twins want to see you"
