I wrote this poem for my Mum whom I love dearly

Message of Appreciation

You were there for me
From day one.
You gave me life,
A breath of fresh air.

You were there for me,
When I fell.
You gave me security,
A safe warm bed.

You were there for me,
Even when I didn't want it.
You gave me independence,
A world to explore.

You were there for me,
When I was sad.
You gave me a shoulder to cry on,
A hug full of warmth.

You were there for me,
When I needed you.
You gave love,
A gift from your heart.

You are there for me.
For this,
I thank you.

This ones for my Dad

When At Work With You

Sporting down the street
Us and the old red wagon
You in the driver's seat
Me as the passenger.

Started with a question...
"Want to come to work with me?"
Laughter and the reply
Pulling on my jeans happy as can be.

We pull up outside
Outside the building site
Jump out and run upstairs
Laughing all the way- a happy sight.

Running and exploring
Around the building site.
Dangerous, but we don't care
Coz I'm at work with you.
