Mom: I smiled at him. "I've been working for so long today love after Jason and I talked I thought I would just go out for a bit and relax. Im sorry for not telling you," I said honestly. I did need that brake. "All I did was walk around the city."

Father: "Oh alright. I forgive you just next time let me know when your heading out." I said.

Jace: I finished up and headed back to my room.

Mom: "of course, I just didn't want to interrupt just to let you know I was leaving. I don't like seeing you mad at anyone," I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

Father: "Right. All to true." I held her close. "I heard you did talk to him about what I told you to talk about. What was his reaction to it?"

Mom: "he didn't understand why you want to make him marry but it appears to me that making his sister take over was the worst of it. I think everything will be just fine though, we all just have to keep an open mind," I said.

Father: "Opened minded? Why is that?"

Mom: "well, I know that love can be found in any person so I suppose if the girl he loves is not of our kind we should tolerate it. You think you can allow that for once? Even if it doesn't happen?" I asked him seriously.

Father: "POssibly if he had a good reason behind it then yes." I said.

Mom: "that's all I ask if this is the choice you've chosen for him. We got lucky to be in love but we were forced, I don't want him going through the same thing and not be happy," I said. Then I smiled brightly, an obvious change of subject was following. "So are you finished for the night?"

Father: "Uh. Yea seems so. Why? Whats on that little mind of yours?" I smiled.

Mom: I smiled more at him. "I figured we could have some time alone. It's been awhile since you've had enough time and energy to really spend with me love. Maybe we can give one of the kids a little time once in awhile to have sometime for each other. To do whatever we want to do," I said.

Father: "True." I said. "But I don't know right now."

Mom: "why not? Alright, then tomorrow you owe me a date tomorrow," I said. I was gone quickly because I didn't like showing him the truth about how I feel when regarding his job. I loved him but he was always busy so I never saw him anymore. I sighed as I sat in a chair in my room. We hardly even sleep together because of his odd hours. Which is why I want Jason to marry so when he takes over she can help him with his work and spend their time together that way.

Father: "Bu-" But she was gone I sighed. Though she was right on one thing we were forced together in the first place. And that I should let my son be happy over anything else. I walked around the house for a while.

Mom: I was able not to let my emotions out again and went to the bathroom to shower. When I was finished I began to prepare for bed quietly. When I finished getting dressed I went to tell the kids goodnight, they may be grown but I loved them too much. Ellie was asleep so I kissed her cheek before going to Jason's room.

I was still interested in that dagger I retrived from that wolf. I was looking at the etchings when I heard my mom come in. I looked up from the dagger."Oh. Hey."

Mom: "hey I just came to say good night. What's with the dagger?" I said as I walked in.

"Oh its something I took from the wolf he was going to use it on her. Just figurig it out what it means on all the etichings and what not." I said. "I heard you talked to dad. like talk talk which has been a while."

Mom: "yeah, well looks like it still has to wait. I only got to say something to him for about a minute before running off. Normally I fight your father in some of these little games he plays, but I hope that maybe when you takes over you'd wife gets to be more involved so you can use that as a time to talk," I smiled at him. Though this smile was the one that barrys things underneath it. I understood that my husband couldn't make time for me because he had dozens of people he had to care for and he can't always talk to me. The knowledge doesn't matter it any easier but I learned to keep it from my kids, and him surprisingly.

"Though hiding that something that bothers you doesn't help mom. You know You listen to what we throw at you when really you need some one throw stuff at as well even if it isn't dad. You know me to say I don't like people keeping things from me. I rather learn what doesn't make some one happy so I could advoid it. But it seems that didn't happen with you or dad." I said. I stood up.

Mom: "if my problem could be talked about and solved, then I would have spoken to your father before, but my problem can't be fixed. He is very important to the coven, and even though I am his mate, why should I be allowed to call him from his duties just to talk and all when there's important matters to attend to? I only got that luxury years ago because we were just married, and then you and your sister came. Those years are always the best for the mate of the coven head. It's also why you don't marry and become head immediately after," I said.

"I see." I said. "So you and dad married and then he became leader of the coven before much time to adjust?"

Mom: I nodded, "I barely even knew if I liked him at the time. We never wanted to marry each other, I mean we love each other now but then we didn't know each other," I sighed. "I need to go, you want to see her tomorrow so I suggest resting and leaving as soon as you can tomorrow, goodnight," I go and kiss his cheek before going back to my room. I had my reasons for not talking about the situation we were in. It didn't help to keep my husband out of my mind when I get stressed out. I laid on my bed quietly and tried to sleep.

I sighed. "Yes Mom." I said after she left. Forced to marry each other thats crazy. but thats how grandfather did things then. I put the dagger away and turned off my light before plopping on my bed.

Mom: I fell asleep after hours of just laying there. During that time I kind of hoped he'd come in but something had his attention so now I was alone as usual.

*next day*

Mom: I got up early with a smile as always. I did my best to make sure everything was nd that he was busy all morning.

S: I got up and made myself breakfast.
