Angel City (1x1 open)

"I don't know. Maybe she will tell in time." I shrugged.

I shook my head as she came back suddenly very giddy. "My husband is coming home early from his trip," she said and I smiled. "I can't wait to meet him."

"Well thats awesome." I said. Just thinking about that she gets some of a father figure in her life as an angel made me think of father. I needed time to think to my self for a little while. "I'll let you guys talk if you'll escuase me." I said getting up. I had finished already any ways. I stood outside of the resturant and leaned against the wall with a sigh.

I watched him go quietly feeling worried. Clair watched me and smiled, "you like him." I looked at her startled. "What?! No! He's my friend," I blushed. "Oh I get it, you're unsure. Well let me clarify, you like him a lot."

I sighed. "Why you had to go dad. I don't know what you had planned I know this wasn't it." I said quietly to my self. "Why couldn't you fight the cancer harder. You could of won..." one single tear fell down my cheek.

"I'm a concerned friend, besides if he likes me at all its because he's on the rebound," I replied. "Believe me, if anyone uses you as a rebound, they're idiots."

(I'm gonna get him in more trouble.. Since he's grounded. BUt yet he hears a call for help before any one else did he cant sit still and do nothing. And Even though he is grounded he goes and helps the person and gets pretty beat up him self for stopping this person)

I was quitly trying to calm my self down when I heard a cry for help. I knew I shouldn't but I just couldn't stand there and ignore it. so I go towards it On foot.

I nodded quietly but had no reply.

I got there and defend her to my best ability and recived a few hits back at me. But soon as he saw who I was he was gone. and I helped some one. Great now my face hurt. And I knew I was going to get yelled at. I tried to hide my face making my way back to the girls.

We were paying for the meal when I saw him come in. "What happened!?" I asked as I went to him.

I looked at her. "Something I should have done." I said. "Since I'm still tencually grounded." I whispered to her.

I shook my head. "Let's get you to the car," I said and began leading him away.

I just nodded.

I got us into the back seat and started looking over him.

I just let her. "He just got my face." I said.

"I don't care, I want to make sure nothing is broken. You're a good friend of mine, my only friend," I said. "Without you I would've been all alone when the press found us together and the council spoke to me. No one would've done that for me."

"I know." I said. I looked at her. I touched her cheek.

My expression softened at the gesture. "I'm sorry, I know it probably annoys you but I don't want to lose something I've never had."

"I understand." I said. I stroke her cheek.

I closed my eyes and leaned into his hand.

I pulled away when I saw Clair coming out of the restaurant.

I looked up and saw her. I sat straight and buckled up. "Sorry, but your appearance had everyone frazzled in there," she said as she got in.

"Frazzled?" I asked quietly.

"They became scared and a bit worried," I said.

"oh.." I said.
