As it seems_____________


On the forbidden tree

Rests the golden fruit

But is the sweet, sweet apple

As tasty as it seems?

Take a closer look my friends,

And tell me, what you see.

For there it is

As clear as day

Worms wiggling, squiggling, eating, trying to break free.

Nice poem, but I dont want to taste that tasty apple, hehehe

Tear
Warm droplets fall from eyes,
Helplessly watching as their dream dies,
Cruelly snatched,
By chance unknowingly hatched.

The Night
The night beckons me,
In the darkness it calls my name sweetly.
It whispers in my ear kind promises for tomorrow,
And hopes to live my days without sorrow.

In the shadows pains fade,
That in the light were cruelly made,
And in the black devoured are my sobs,
For no longer is the day that wrongly robs.

In the witching hour I may be blind,
But further enriched is the vision of my mind.
Would you rather suffer in the unforgiving light,
Or slumber peacefully in the gentle arms of night?

Stars
In the light,
Hidden are the stars.

The Day
Silver moonlight dances through stained glass windows,
Trailing tender kisses on the floor,
But when the morning cock crows,
This graceful beauty is no more.

The daylight comes and chases,
All memory of the night,
Wielding brilliant maces,
Burning with its might.

But the present that it brings,
Is such a lovely creature,
For to life it calls all sorts of things,
Burying any in-desirable feature.

Sea Birds
Sea birds crash into,
Jagged rocks like waves to land,
Tossed by cruel winds.

The Garden
Alone in the garden,
Surrounded by beauty,
Slowly suffocating between petals,
Choking on the smell.
