| I am an avid writer and I've written for 8 years now and have gotten better as time went on. Here are a few of my poems for now, I will post others later on considering I have a HUGE word document full! And please know that none of these are related to HoN at all.
Vampyress
The succubus, A dark seducement. She follows you home. Only one thing on her mind. She smells your sweet blood, Pulsing beneath the thin membrane. You’re unaware, Unaware your blood will be spilled. She come from behind, Silent.. You turn, She smiles, Her skin white against the moonlight. Eyes the color of turquoise, Peer down at you. She feeds, Letting your warm blood run down her throat. In pain you scream, Only for your dreams to fall silent quickly. A beautiful woman, A monster in disguise. She feeds off innocence, She feeds in darkness. Your own life, Taken from you in an instant. The vampyress will strike again, For that life giving liquid, So warm and smooth. Another will face their fate, Beneath the moon and stars. Only time will tell, Until another life will be taken.
A Vampire’s Love
Within the night, Two lovers hide. Hidden in the trees, Two beings intertwine. Bodies warm against eachother, Cold as ice to others. Eyes of crystal, Stare deep at eachother. Sharing the deep kiss, Passion and lust, With the touch. Moving quietly, No one will know. These two beings, Share the same taste for blood. Fangs like needles, Pierce your skin. They play in blood, Enjoying the smell and feel. They kiss, Transferring the sweet liquid between eachother. With the carcass aside, They caress, A ring found on the female’s finger, The sight of love in the male’s eyes. They tear at eachother’s clothes, The bare bodies shining beneath the moon. Together they are one, Together they live forever. A couple of bloodshed, A couple of darkness. A vampire’s love for eachother, The most purest form of passion, It shall never die.
Sweet Temptation
I lye in darkness, A deep craving on my tongue. Water does nothing to quench it, Food is merely a tease. The changing moon, Sending me into my craze. My throat burns, Red driving me insane. The monster inside thrashes, Waiting to feast. The life giving force, Pulsing within. This is what I want, What I need. The deep, sweet temptation, Finally flourished. My craving settled, No longer to bother me, Until the moon changes again, And my craze begins.
Witches Night
Under a full moon, A pentagram is formed. Each point, An element of importance. Earth, A green candle burns. Wind, A white candle burns. Fire, A red candle burns. Water, A blue candle burns. Praise up to the goddess, Bring good fortune. Bring us peace And bring us love. A spell recited, Auras ablaze. Four sit at the points, Praying to the goddess to come. A witches night, Ending in praise and song, Under the casting light of the moon.
To Die
To die without love, Is like dieing without a heart. To die without hope, Is like dieing without dreams. To die without friends, Is like dieing alone. To die without dreams, Is like dieing without creativity. To die without a family, You might as well have never lived at all.

| Honestly, I'm not trying to put you down or piss you off, but your poems aren't that good. I've seen many good ones on other sites. Your poems lack the essence of a successful poem -- emotions. They contain a lot of words, they pass a lot of information, but they portray no emotions, they generate no feelings -- They are flat and monotonous.
It can help if you add a little emotions to it here and there. Like "To Die", you are just telling us things as if we don't know them. Rephrasing the lines can also help to portray the emotions better.
I'm not trying to be mean or harsh or brutal, I'm just trying to be honest.
It's good that you're going to post more up though, but I do hope I can find essence in your later poems.

Sorry but my poems have plenty of emotion, you just don't understand it in a sense probably. I really don't need help with my writing, I like it how it is. Sorry you can't enjoy my poetry.

| A couple more. Still not all of the ones I have written though!
True Love
Love is patient, But not always kind. True love is real And so precious. It is never jealous, Never painful. True love is pure, The strongest bond between two beings. True love lasts, With nothing but happiness. Life is nothing without love, It has no meaning. True love is reality, It will never die.
Gothic Woman
Dressed in black, Hair of raven, There she sits. Black makeup bleeds from her eyes, Skin pale as the moon. Her lips painted black, Alone, She sits in the dark. There, She holds her heart, It aches, Pain shooting through her body. She thrives in darkness, Her own comfort. Wounds sewn shut upon her wrists. There she stays, Alone in her dark embrace, Remembering her lighter home. A parent’s separation, Causes her this pain. Her reason why she stays locked, Deep in the darkest shadows.
Dark Dream
In darkness I sleep, Dreaming deeply.
A world in darkness, Blood upon the ground. Corpses, Lie empty and bloody. My senses over take me, Blood lust takes over. Vision of red, I attack. Innocence taken without a second thought, The blood flowing down my body. A crazed killer, Unable to be controlled. Bodies lie all around me, Broken and bloodless.
I awake abruptly, Getting a grip on reality. I look around me, Making sure it wasn’t real. The taste of blood, Left in my mouth. I look upon my arm, Dripping with blood. I bend down, Only to taste it run down my throat again.
I wake again, A dream within a dream. Sweat pouring from my body. In the darkness I sit, Catching my breath. A dream of blood, And a deep craving, Was all to leave me in the night.
Lovers in the Night
A moonless night, A young woman stalks the streets. Hand in hand with her lover, Murderers in the night. Each dressed in black, Skin pale as moonlight. They prey on those unaware.
In a dark alley, They come to stop. A kiss shared, Before separation. Mortals walking, They grab their kill.
Hidden in the darkness, They feed silently together. Blood covering their faces, They take their fill.
A carcass left behind, They continue on. A deadly poison, Flowing within their veins. A curse to last forever, A love within eternity.
Piercing eyes scan for another, To kill, feed and dispose of. Killers in the night, Silent and deadly. They attack without a sound.
A loss of life, To keep them alive. Death to bring them life.
Together they continue their hunt, Preying on the betrayers in the night. Through darkness, They continue, Until the sun rises, They’ll feed.
Dawn breaks, They disappear. Night will come again, And the lovers will continue, Feeding on more of the betrayers, rapists, and stalkers, In the night.

| Just trying to help, sorry it provoked you so much. I'm just used to penning down how I feel about poems and telling people directly because it is how it works on another site. If you just want praises, it's fine with me. | |

I have been told by many that my poetry should be published. No one's writing style is the same, everyone is going to be different. Some will use rhyming while others (like myself) won't

| Couple more for now!
Fall
Under the harvest moon, No sound to be heard. Leaves of many colors, Fall softly to the ground below. A cold chill, Sweeping across the terrain. The wind picks up, Taking the leaves to a new place. There, They will be dried within the morning sun. Dawn brings out the color, Before the wind takes them away. The colors die, As winter covers the landscape. The colors of fall, Gone from now. They return, When the Harvest moon rises again.
Married to Darkness
In darkness he waits, Awaits for that who he loves. Piercing eyes, Gaze around his surroundings, Scanning the area for his love.
Mortals walk by him, Without an acknowlegment. He is nothing but a shadow in the dark.
The cool wind comes, Blowing his dark blonde hair. Her scent comes to him, A smile coming to his face.
She appears, Hair of blonde blowing behind her. A black coat covering her features. She comes to him, Wrapping her arms around his waist. A kiss they share, Before taking their journey.
He takes her by the hand, A ring upon their left ring fingers. Away they walk, Into the unknown.
They come to a park, Silence surrounding them. In the night, They embrace in silence, With no one near.
A marriage to darkness, Together they share. A dark gift, Given to them. They deal with it together, By eachother’s side. For eternity they’ll be, Together in love, And forever in death.
Stalker
In the dark of the night, A creature stalks. He feeds upon your innocence, Your love, And your happiness. In his greed, He takes your soul. He feeds upon your very being. The hunter of hope, Taking away your very life. Your dreams, Ripped from your soul. He leaves you broken, Alone on the floor. He takes his leave, Fulfilling his needs. He will strike again, Another innocent soul to be lost, They will be left, Alone and broken, All in the end.

| Never Say Goodbye
A couple, Together for years. A relationship started as friends, Grew swiftly. As time goes, A proposal is given. Years later, A wedding of their dreams. Time passes slowly, A love that stays true. Their children are born, A blessing of family, Their age, Increases in time. Their children grow, And leave the comforts of home. The couple grows old, A love still strong. The end of life coming swiftly, Husband before wife. She never says goodbye, He still holds onto her heart, Even in death. She goes soon after, Rejoining her love, In the heavens.
Wife of a Soldier
Home alone, A lone figure sits in a bay window. The moon outside, Outlines her figure. Arms wrapped around herself, She tries to comfort her lonely heart. A shining ring on her left finger, A lone reminder of her lover. He left, For his own pleasures. Miles away, She cries, Knowing not what will happen. Months go by, And he finally returns. A broken heart, Mending quickly. Life comes back, And can now restart.
Broken
A broken home, Shattered like glass. Once peaceful, Now in despair. So long ago, There were never any problems. Today, We suffer just to live. A life of stress, We now live. Never happy, Never joyful, Though always rushing. Our lives, Taken in another’s hands, Where we will be controlled. Freedom is gone, Our lives controlled, We live, In a broken world.

| These are some of my MUCH older ones that I did years ago.
A Creature Of The Moon
A dark forest, evil and cold. A creature of immortality changes beneath the moon. Teeth like razors, Claws of daggers. A ghostly howl echoed into the night Eyes of blood, rest upon you, locking you in sight. Coal black fur the breeze gently blows. A dark night turned to bloodshed. Blood stains its muzzle, a growl of satisfaction left in its throat. A night of silence turned violent and bloody. A hungry creature, Now fulfilled.
My Dark Prince
My flickering pain Taken in so deep Darkness covered me Making me numb and cold An urge, Brought only to me by you A taste of blood Your blood upon my tongue My teeth carefully scrape your neck My blood I only wish to share with you An endless love A dark love Tendencies each of us share I will only give my deadly heart to you I am your dark angel, Your heaven in hell Together, I am only yours My dark prince As you are mine.
Children of Darkness
Behind masks we hide Keeping our identity from light We’ve been bound in chains Making us obey. Our pitch black eyes Bleed with tears. Our scars show our struggle, Our wings tattered and torn, Nothing but bone. We bring fear to those who find love to be wonderful And bring hope to those born to darkness Our eyes burn red in anger and hate, Turning cold and black when sad. We’re slaves to ourselves. Bleeding for pleasure and in pain. We serve only the darkest, We’re the keepers of the dark magic. Bound in with the elements We feed off the energy of those unaware, We move within cemeteries Only under the pale moon shine We move in silence with the night Within the trees. What are we? That has been asked We are the children that call darkness home. The children of darkness.

| Here are a few more for you guys!
Life to Death
Living life, So peaceful and happy. Though quickly, Becomes poisonous and deadly. Life can end without a second thought, Bring upon death. Though with death, Brings new life. With the death of one being, Another is born. Death is a part of life, Unable to be ignored. It happens to us all when life has finished its course.
What is a Dream?
It is your alternate reality, Your alter ego. It is where your youth, Still lives. Its what you yearn for, Where the things you want most are kept. It can be your happiness, Pain, Or anger. Where your daydreams, Can become a reality. Where love is never broken, A place where its always strong. What is a dream? It is whatever you make it to be.
The Killing Moon
Beneath a sky of red, Blood is spilled. The trees set to flame, Lives lost in tragedy. Smoke fills the sky, Covering the land with thick fog. The light of the moon, Shining down. The whole world, Covered in red. A lust, That came to soon. Not a cloud in the night sky, Beneath the killing moon, A murderous act, Has been committed.
The Fog
The sky cast in gray, The vision impaired. Silently it creeps, Consuming all in its path, The sun, Does not break through the veil, To cast it’s warming glow. Scenery hidden in its depths, Creatures may lurk. Silence, No sound to be heard. The chilly air, Brings the clouds to the surface. It dances across water, Making it seem to burn. Mountains hidden behind the gray ghost. The fog, So silently it conceals. Life stands still, Hiding all forms, In its murky depths.
Love at Sunset
The sky, Cast in orange, red, blue, yellow and purple, Conceals the setting sun. Behind the mountain it hides, Casting a romantic glow. Beneath the dieing light, Lovers remain. An embrace, Deeply shared. Their hearts, Beat as one. Two lovers, Locked in passion, And in dreams. Without a sound, The breeze brings darkness. The last light dieing over the horizon. Stars peek through in the night, Comets flying high above. A wish is made, Unknowing if it will come true. Their love does not end here. Until the next day, The sun will set. A memory etched in their hearts. A memory of kindness, Hope, Dreams. And love, Will follow them through their life. The love at sunset, Will never fade, And it will never die.

| Deadly Kiss
Shadows, Conceal the lingering fate. A being of beauty, A being of hate, Has chosen the victim for the night.
A sweet temptation, Lingered upon thy lips. The taste of seduction, A hold unable to break.
Eyes of ice, A look of passion. They look upon you, With a gentle stare.
A deadly kiss, So soft and sweet. A taste unable to withstand, Their lovers hold.
The deed has been done, Another gone. The hold was to strong, For even the strongest heart.
Their breath taken away, With one simple task. One simple kiss, Was all it took.
He will leave, The body lifeless before him. His journey continues, Until the break of dawn.
Devils
The pits of hell, Unable to control the monsters. Trouble makers of fire, Sly and quick, Unleashed on earth.
They stalk and scare, The messengers of Satan. Sinners are taken away, Stolen from prisons, And taken to darkness.
Death in hell, Death in fire, A sacrifice given.
Master of hell, Come to laugh upon you. You wronged life, Caused pain.
Suffering will be your home, Crucified for your mistakes. Feel the blood of the innocent, Flow in your veins and finally, Say goodbye to all you know, You shall feel their pain.
