Kalona and Neferet [Spoiler]

i guess, yeah. but zoey knows what he is, what he's done and what he's capable of. i know its hard for her..but its silly. im hoping that with what has happened in the last book, this thing kalona has over her will be gone.

I think both Neferet and Kalona share an obsession with control.
Both believe they are in control of the other in some way, even as they both acknowledge each other's power.

I think it's too late for Kalona to "choose."
If his existence as a "fallen angel" matches the Christian traditional treatment, which Sister Angela's reaction to him seems to suggest, then Kalona MADE HIS CHOICE eons ago, and his current existence is the direct result of his choice.

One thing that threw me off about Zoey and the Blood Pack's banishment of Kalona is...what's to stop him from raising similar hell in a more populated area?
Banishing him from Tulsa could have simply empowered him to take Neferet and the Raven Mockers (okay, that seriously sounds like a band name) to New York City and turn exponentially more vampyres and fledglings against Nyx there than he could have in Tulsa.

Just seems selfish of the main characters to simply throw the problem at someone else, just so THEY don't have to deal with it yet.

Especially since he can breed more Raven Mockers and Neferet can create more blood-minded red fledglings, then they can come back to claim/kill the Tulsa crowd with an exponentially larger army of followers.

i really dont like neferet and i think she stayed with kalona because if she stayed with him then she would seem more powerful but if she left him then she wouldnt have him to like put a spell on the people and make everyone think that he all hot and neferet is good!

That would be too easy. Besides now that Neferet is surrounded with Darkness I think it'll be harder for Zoey to defeat her. She can't just wing it anymore.
