Twilight Wolf Side Story

"Cullen?" I asked again. "Is it one of you? It's Seth and Leah." I said walking until I made out an outline. "You aren't a Cullen are you?"

Cullen? Hmm... Were they those people who broke the law but not really? Hmm... Maybe, the fight that wasn't a fight was close to here.

I heard the word 'Cullen' again. What the heck was a Cullen?!

"Um. Pardon, but what exactly is a 'Cullen'?" I repiled. "Nice to meet you Leah and Seth, I am Lirimaer."

I stepped forward to meet them. No use running now...

"Oh, it's a family, of well you know." I said thinking they'd know. "Nice to meet you to Lirimaer," I said.

I stared blankly at Seth.
"A family of?" I blinked. I wondered why he assumed I knew anything when I didn't even know of a 'Cullen'. I mean I know things just not what this unusually large human was talking about. A voice came from somewhere within the forest. I whipped around towards the sound.
"Who was that?" Fabulous I am no in my own homelands and now I'm hearing things?..

"You know, vampires," I said hoping that wasn't a mistake. "Who was that?" I asked. "Um, hello?" I called.

"Well, I took a shower this morning, so I don't think I smell that bad." I said. "But if you're a vampire it's one of the perks of being a were-wolf. You get to annoy them with your scent."

A growl rumbled in my chest, "Who's there"

As I looked in the direction of sound, Seth answered my question. I stiffened when he said 'Vampires'. There were more in the area? I hadn't heard of any of my kind living around here. Which would also explain why I don't know the Cullens.

"The way you said that makes me wonder how you feel about them." I said, probably the wrong thing to ask.

The voice came through again.
"Why don't you come out here and show yourself?" I hollered back...

"We get along with the Cullen's" I said, "We have an agreement and..friendship with them"

I frowned, "We phase when we want" I said trembling in anger, I took a deep breath trying to calm myself, "Not on a full moon"

I looked over my shoulder at who answered. It was Leah. I nodded to her.

"So would one be in danger around you if they were not a part of the friendly agreement?" I asked politely. I knew the dangers I faced around werewolves and this was definitely not a time that she wanted a confrontation with three very large ones. The fact that there was something within the woods now too, probably another vampire judging by the sweet smell the wind had hinted towards us, didn't help me either.

The vampire stepped out of the woods talking to Leah and I could feel the air around Leah change along with her tone. I stepped away and turned to see what was happening. I knew I was in danger now, thanks to the stupid vampire in the woods...

"Technically we're shapeshifters" I said, "But we're just as dangerous" I added, "Now what do you want?" I asked the leech in the forest, "And you're in no danger...until you offend me or my brothers"

"Ahh. That makes more sense. And I am just passing. Not sure about the other vamp here. But I might stay around for just a little longer. How many are in your... How many brothers do you have? And what is your names? From what she says your name is leah" I said pointing to the girl. "And your name is... Seth right?" I said looking at the boy."

"Seth yes," I said. "And there's also Sam, Jacob, Jared, Paul, Quil, and Embry." I said and then turned to Leah "Leah calm down," I said praying she wouldn't change.

"We're a pack, you know like the real wolves." I said. "Nope, Leah is the only one," I said. 'And if you kids are lucky you might see her phase 'cause she seems pretty mad.' I added in my head.

I frowned still trying to calm myself
