A Poem by me {Keela} & no, it doesn't rhyme.

I don't really know what inspired this poem... I was thinking last night and it popped into my head sometime around midnight. So, let me know what you think, please and thanks you.

This poem is about Apollo and Artemis. The god of the sun & the goddess of the moon.
I've been reading the Percy Jackson series and so that's what inspired this. The book was "The Titan's Curse" if you've read it, this'll make more sense.
Anyway, hope y'all liked it.

This one's called "Letters"
The rain falls, but she imagines flower petals.
She ignores a deep hidden fear.
Her heart feels full of a thousand metals,
As she lets fall a single tear.

He looks at the sky,
Thousands of miles away,
Trying not to cry.
He writes to her everyday.

They counted the days,
Till they had to part ways.
Now they hope together,
That they’ll get each and every letter.

She receives a note and gives it a long look,
She jumps up and grabs a pen and a book.

He opens the letter,
And can’t wait till they’re once again together,

Soon she opens the door,
To the day they’d been waiting for.

The Rain
The rain falls, reminding her of him.
She thinks back to the year before.
They walked together, the moonlight dim.
He told her the news, she fell to the floor.

She stayed with him through all of the treatments,
Spent hours in the waiting room thinking,
“No one should have to go through this.”

Months passed, but he only got worse.
One day, watching the rain, he turned to her and said,
“It’s time for me to go.”
Her eyes filled with tears, mimicking the scene outside.
He took her hand and wiped her tears,
“Don’t cry. I love you and I’ll always be with you.”
“I love you, too.”

One week later, she got a call…
She wept for weeks.

Her pain lessened as time went on,
But she never forgot.

The rain still falls,
Forever reminding her of her first true love

First one:
Great, reminds of the movie "Race To Witch Mountain", I don't think that was what you were going for though?
Second:
Just like the movie "Twitches" that's who it stars; Artimas and A . . . whatever 'Sept in the real world they're Alex and Carmen
Third:
Like the movie "Dear John" you know the one that says: 'What would you do, if a letter changed everything?' Haven't seen it, but I seen the preveiw . . . ohhh what's it callled? TRAILER!
Forth:
Reminds me of "My Sister's Keeper" because of where 'She got the call' well I'm taking it as she was sick and so was he and he died;what happens in MSK!
Fifth:
Reminds me of astronomers and astrologers (the differance? astroLogers predict the spot and veiwing part of a particular planet, contellation cluster . . . ect . . . .) and HoN because well, Cresent Moon! Hee-hees

(I must watch a lot of movies!, 'Cuz I related -almost- everyone to a movie-Hee-hees)
