I got inspired to write this poem from a movie I saw long ago. I know it's not that good but hey, at least I had the nerve to post it. Haha ;D
I’ve never really talked to her or tell her about my life.
She has the greatest stories to tell and to me I know she’ll never lie.
I love her like a sister and hope she speaks the same
but somewhere I know deep inside that it will never be that way.
When I’m feeling lonely I know who and where to go
and sometimes she doesn’t respond to my despairing sorrow
but I don’t let that convince me that she’ll never realize,
I love her too and that’s the clue to take me by surprise.
We’ll leave here and never look back for you are my closest friend
don’t ever think otherwise until the very end.
Let’s run and run and ditch them all before they catch up soon
and make it to your place where they can love us too.
