Poem For Air [September 23, 2010 Full Moon Ritual]

A light, gentle breeze,
A slight rustle through the trees.
Who fills our lungs and makes our breath,
And helps us stray away from death.
A great force with gentle shoves,
But one who whispers of their love.
Delicately taking care,
From under the wing of Brother Air.

I'm taking my leave from tomorrow morning to Sunday night/Monday morning. For the people who actually are wondering why, this can just about satisfy your curiosity. I'm going through a lot of drama right now, and the site doesn't need anymore of that.
I'm not abandoning it or anything, but I need a few days to reflect upon myself.
I trust that you all will behave well for our site Mods and Admins and I expect for you to treat them with respect.

You told me just minutes ago,
That I could leave for three days.
But what would happen if I left forever,
If I just went away?
Would you care,
Would you cry,
Would you search,
For me all night?

Would you even notice,
Because I'm leaving now,
But you told me it'd be alright,
Would the three days be foul?
I don't know if you'd care,
Since I told you it'd be for three days,
But what happens if I like the absence,
What if I got sick of this maze?

I thought I found the end of it,
But the trail only led on,
So venturing forward with a heavy heart,
Listening to the not mine song.
So I looked around and found a book,
So I sat and read it aloud,
Hearing her harsh words,
Made me anything but proud.

Unsure of what to do,
I laughed a sour croak,
Slapping on yet another mask,
While my face becomes silently soaked.
My tears are unheard in my voice,
I've had enough practice by now,
But maybe your secretly crying too,
Though I can't imagine how.

You were never the one to say what you fealt,
But you always told me what.
But I don't think you'd be willing to ever again,
I'd rather have my throat cut.
So I sit here, thinking of the ways,
To end my misery,
But maybe this game isn't over quite yet,
But the pain shall exist in my memory.

I can't cry anymore,
I'm too weak to try.
I can't live on anymore,
No, it's not a lie.
But, if I won, I'd be free at last,
Of the things she makes you do,
And maybe you'd realize for just this one moment,
That you actually love me too.

So! Parts of this poem rhyme, others don't.
I couldn't care less about how it sounds, I only want people to know that it's how /I/ feel.
And it's how /I/ wrote it. And it's what Kix means to /me/.
[Frankly, I think this poem is too good to rhyme. :] Considering I hadn't fumbled once trying to think of something to rhyme with.]

The Perfect Pair
Two days before I, she knows something good's happening.
In the morning she'll wake up as happy as I'll be.
I feel her pain even when it's not spoken,
And I when I talk to her, I can only be me.
The way I know that I'm her bestest friend,
The way she knows that it's the same back here,
The way she'll call me everyday to make sure I'm doing fine,
And I never knew why I'd burst out and cry.

I'm sure that the next day, she'll tell me some bad news,
Even though I'm not really sure if my tears were mine or hers.
And the other times I'd hide in a bathroom,
Calling from a friends,
And how I wouldn't care if they yelled,
Oh please. I can pretend.

My life seems so much easier,
Just knowing she'll come soon,
And how the mention of her name,
See, it always makes me smile.
I'm not really sure why,
But every single day,
I'll spend half just fantasizing,
A quater of which I'll pray.

I'm pretty sure I had pizza tonight,
But I don't really remember.
I was thinking how much better it'd be,
If she visited in December.
I think my opinion matters too much,
She'd change a lot for me.
But it's not like that's horrible,
Since it's only for me, you see?

I know she loves me,
She knows I love her,
But we fight over whose is stronger,
And I'll let her win.
But, shh, don't tell her that quite yet.
Our game is far from over.

And we pitch them straight,
And spike 'em down,
And bowl our strikes,
Running 'round.
And she'll be in the lead for me,
And I'll be in the lead for her,
But maybe it's just time we settle,
That my will is stronger.

And I know she'll finick,
And I know she'll fuss,
And I know she'll argue,
But she'll never cuss.
I know this because it's who she is,

Every single saying,
But none of them relate,
To what my heart is singing.
I think I'm confused,
But I'm too delusional to know,
